This was the perfect practical gift to give my husband of 9 years. He loves that he can use his gift and doesn't have to pretend to like it. It is appropriate for work and has a good grip. The ink is smooth and he believes (I have not checked) that he can refill it when it runs out of ink. Honestly for the price I can always buy him another one.Really great pen and came in a perfect gift box already all wrapped up inside in tissue paper and a cloth protecting case. I joked with him that I might have to buy another one for me and tell people "great minds think alike"

I purchase this for a wedding anniversary. It is stylish and simple, my wife loves it. Whether or not it is ever used for writing does not matter to me. It is a remembrance of a special event. Worth the price.
