Victor Hi-Pro Plus Formula Dry Dog Food, 20-Pound

Our puppy has put on weight nicely on a diet of Victor and a little canned Royal Canin. Our breeder uses this as well. We have a wonderful German Shepard female.

We love Victor dog food for our picky dogs. They have several allergies to ingredients and I know I can feed them this food without causing them problems.we have every few stores that sell this product in Indiana so I'm glad I can get it on amazon

I get this at my local feed store for $39.99 for a 40 pound bag, cheaper than Amazon usually. Since I experienced stint of unemployment after grad school, I was looking for something a bit cheaper than what I was feeding when I had income, but as close in quality as possible. I tried Sportmix wholesomes, but ended up supplementing with fish oil since my dog's skin a coat were dry on it. Victor ticked all the boxes for my active boxer x German shorthair, so I thought I'd try it. My guy didn't have any stomach issues transitioning, and within a couple days of feeding Victor, his coat and skin started to get back to their previous health, and I use fewer poo bags than any food I've ever fed. The fact that it's made at a single plant in Texas and hasn't had any recalls are cherries on top.

In December, I bought the 40lb bag of this food for $54.95 through Amazom.com. Currently that size is not in stock and Amazon is charging $44.95 for a 20lb bag. Why would I do that when I can buy it from www victorpet com for $54.95 for the 40lb bag and get free shipping (only select states). Plus, I received $5 off for being a first time buyer. My Aussie puppy loves this food and keeps coming back for more. I'm afraid he loves it a bit too much as we keep needing to increase his serving size. He's 16 weeks old and having some huge growth spurts.
