This barn door hardware kit is a great buy. The brackets and rail are heavy duty, the sliders are smooth and the entire kit looks great installed.Installation was straight forward and fairly simple. Like with most things, it's easier with two people but it's possible to do it alone. The only negative thing I came across - the directions are in mm, not inches, so it took extra work to figure out where to properly hang the brackets. If they allowed you to deduct a half star, I would've for the extra time to translate mm to inches, but it's not worth taking away a full star. Note: if using a drill/power screwdriver to install the brackets, be careful! The torque of the drill could spin the brackets and cut the finger/hand you're using to hold the bracket in place. (This happened to us).Separately, after I had the kit installed, I realized that I would benefit from an additional bracket. My door opening is 48". They instruct you to overhang the rail past the door opening and this meant that we couldn't open the door the full length of the opening. I called to purchase an additional bracket so I could move the rail down without compromising the integrity. Customer service sent me an additional bracket at no charge!Overall, I would highly recommend this kit.

Beautifully packaged, easy to follow instructions

Bar and roller are top notch - looks great and roller is very quiet. I would recommend using your own anchors depending on the type of wall you're mounting the hardware to. Obviously blocking is needed at all mounting points (16" O.C.). I like that the hardware spreads out the loading points (6 or 7 mounting points instead of 2 or 3) to avoid any sag over time. The roller is easy to install after the bar is mounted, as well as the stoppers at each end - a helpful and flexible feature.

This is great hardware! Installed it w a 1x12 board for support as the studs weren't going to line up. I only needed 94" so we cut the pole w a hacksaw to size - better to order a single pole and cut than to add two together. Looks great, quiet, solid and smooth! I would def recommend. And the price is great. I used this on a barn door w frosted glass for a newly gutted and installed bathroom .. Didn't want the traditional door coming into the bathroom taking up space and this was the perfect solution.

I have not installed the hardware yet, but I was impressed by the hardware quality in the package. I will update the review after the installation!

Product is exactly as described and how it looks in picture. Very simple to install (well, the hardware is easy to install on the wall, hanging a heavy door on the pole is inherently harder) and has been working great with new door for ~2 weeks now.
