Healthfuls Sweet Potato Slices Healthy Dog Treats – Limited Ingredient, Grain Free, Made from Real Dried Sweet Potatoes, 16 oz

My dogs love these sweet potato slices. I have French bulldogs, so I use kitchen shears to cut them into smaller pieces. Since I generally get about four pieces out of each strip, the bag will last a long time. While they seem a bit tough, the dogs like chewing on them, and it probably helps keep their teeth clean. Sweet potatoes are also good for dog digestion.

My 6.5 month old puppy loves these sweet potato chews! When you open the bag they smell fresh, which is lovely! They are very chewy and also very “sticky” and I find she struggles to get them out of her teeth. I find that if I cut them up into 1/4” strips and then cut the strips into cubes, she has less of an issue. I still love them for two reasons: First, because they are a quality healthy treat that she loves! Second, because they are a very good value (especially if you subscribe for a monthly delivery)! One bag easily lasts us a month. (Also, while the size of the chews in the bag vary, I am quite pleased that the slices are easily recognizable as sweet potato’s! Some of the slices are huge so I only give her 1/2 or even 1/4 of the slice! Loooooove these!)

VERY pleased to have found these! Wanted something to offer Mookie as a "special treat" (a step up from Milkbones, but NOT long-lasting) that was healthy and easily digestible. He wasn't sure what to make of them at first... they're fairly soft and a little chewy, and they just smell like FRESH sweet potatoes -- not any fake meat or seasoning. Once he started chewing, however, he got very excited about the new treat, and now when he hears the bag being handled/opened, he comes running and does his little happy dance! We'll be keeping these on hand because the quality and reasonable price - combined with the LACK of tummy distress and his enjoyment - make this a "go-to" special reward.

My dog loves these treats! I started giving him sweet potato treats just so he could have more variety in what he eats, but the original brand looked like they were just processed and never cleaned. The next brand was better, but then the company started making them thinner and they were hard, brittle and almost burnt. He would also leave them for hours before deciding to eat them. Then we tried Healthfuls and he immediately lay down and started chewing away. He really likes them! They seem to have more of a chewy texture, are not 'sticky' and I have not found one piece that looks bad. If I could give more stars, I would!

I love how nutritious these are for my pups with minimal ingredients, natural coloring, and almost no smell. I have 3 shin tzu’s and they eat the larger pieces just fine. It can take them anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours to eat a single piece depending on how chewy it is. If I leave the chewies exposed to the air even a tiny bit they become rock hard so make sure the pouch is sealed.

These sweet potato chews are the best we’ve tried. My dogs absolutely love them. I was actually going to taste them myself because they smell like they have been cooked with lots of seasoning.

My six dogs absolutely love these treats! I just ordered my third bag.I love knowing they are healthy and good for dogs with sensitive stomachs. The smell is great and reminds me a little bit of Thanksgiving. Each bag has several different sized treats so I can give my bigger dogs a bigger one and smaller dogs a smaller piece. They are wavy like a ruffle potato chip, but chewy, which is great because that means it takes my pups a minute or two to eat. They are a great price because my local grocery store sells the same type of treat in a smaller size bag at a higher price than these.

My pups love the taste and crunch of these treats. Because they're a healthy treat, I love giving them to my girls. Different sizes and thickness.
