Professional polish for restoring quality wood
I used this professional polish to restore three antique French tables. Use sparingly, and light amount goes a long way. Apply, let dry completely, buff, apply second coat, let dry for a couple of hours, then buff. Wait at least a week or longer before applying again, a little goes a long way. If you're in a hurry, this isn't the polish for a rushed unprofessional job. You'll know when this high grade polish is ready to be buffed, simply by the slight cloudy mist of the wax. I purchased a buffing cotton wheel and attached it to my power drill and turned it down to a low setting. It took a couple of weeks, but the tables look like they were refinished by a professional. Once again, if you're in a hurry, this professional wood polish isn't for you.

Excellent quality
Excellent wax for my shabby chic project. I used chalk paint with no sealer and I was pleasantly surprised at what a nice finish it puts on. Will definitely buy this brand again.

Old or previously opened..?
I love this wax, however this particular canister is old. It is flaky & more difficult to blend. When I opened the container it looked as if it had been used. I should have not used & sent but I was in a time crunch. Not happy with how it looks on my nightstand. I will try buffing it. I should have returned for new product. Not sure if it is due to the larger size or not…disappointed.
