Diono Orcas NXT fix, Group 1/2/3 ISOFIX Car Seat, from 9-36 kg, 9 months - 12 years With Removeable Harness & Recline, Plum (Discontinued by Manufacture)

This car seat has surpassed all of my expectations!It’s the third car seat I have purchased, the previous two were top brands, Joie and Graco, which I ended up returned as they were simply not fit for purpose. I then stumbled across this in the BF sale, and thought why not give it a go! I’m so glad I did!I purchased it as a second car seat for my 15 month old girl. She is very tall and her legs just won’t allow her to continue to be rear facing. The other seat I have is the Britannia Romer Dual Fix I-size which is absolutely amazing, hence why I found my search for a second seat so challenging, because it had a a lot to live up to!Firstly, I ordered the plum colour on a whim and because it was 65 quid cheaper than the black, and honestly, it’s gorgeous! It looks classy, much nicer than the photos.It’s so easy to fit and the instruction booklet is very clear to follow, unlike Graco. Literally within 30 seconds it’s securely fitted and ready to go. This makes it easy for switching between cars too if she goes to the Grandparents, etc.It doesn’t rattle or move when the seat is in use, nor when it is empty.My daughter fell asleep within 3 minutes in her first journey in it. I was worried that she would hate it because she’d never been facing forward before, and the recline isn’t as intense as her Britax seat, but clearly I had nothing to worry about it, as she actually falls asleep more in this seat than the Britax!The straps are very nicely padded for her, but are also easy to clip together and undo. To loosen then you push a little button whilst pulling the straps, this function seemed a little stiff at first but it is already getting easier. They are long straps so will fit her nicely as she grows.The seat wraps nicely around her, offering great support whilst being comfortable.She absolutely loves facing forward and being able to look out and see the Christmas lights on our little adventures! It’s so cute.My only niggle is that I wish it had a cup holder but it might be something I can purchase separately, I’m not sure yet.I honestly was so sceptical about buying a brand I had never heard of before, but I’m so thankful I did! I would happily and confidently recommend this seat to anyone.

Bought this for your daughter and she loves it. Easy to put into the car. Well padded.

My daughter is physically disabled also GGD and needs a sufficient padding for comfort which the Dione orcas provides it is the only car seat my daughter hasn’t complained being in she is 4.5 years and small due to her disability

Car seat on first inspection looked to be good quality but I returned it as I could not get a good fit in Volvo Xc90 or xc40 despite both cars being universal. Isofix fittings felt flimsy.Car seat rattled a lot when the car was driven without the child in the seat. Buckle constantly twisted on the strap despite very little use before I returned it.
