I've been looking for an affordable option for our guest room, and took the chance on this bed frame. It comes in two giant boxes, but I got them into the house myself, so they weren't too too heavy (I'm 5'1", 135 lbs). The pieces for the bed were packaged very well, clearly marked and labeled. Once I got all the pieces out of the box and organized, it took me 1 hour and 15 minutes to assemble this bed, unassisted. It really was a breeze to put together, and it is really sturdy! The fabric is high quality, and for the price, it really is a fabulous piece. I was kinda thinking the king sized mattress I used was a tad small - looked like there were about 3" from the headboard to the mattress, but it filled out fine when I made the bed with fluffy linens, pillows, and a comforter. I would definitely recommend this piece. Elevates the room, looks classy, easy to assemble, and is very sturdy.

The BED Frame is essentially cosmetic, merely “wrapping” around the Adjustable Base(s).-**IMPORTANT TO CONSIDER: The Slat Support “Side Rails” (LABELED “E”) which bolt in to the sides of the bed with SIX (6) Bolts (LABELED “2”), detailed on pages 9 & 10 or the instructions, are not necessary BUT ARE VERY important to attach for a sturdier headboard!**

Came packed well & ups worker treated ok...had instructions to set up so was helpful...looks nice & it's strong was surprised...didn't need a boxspring...only thing was my king mattress wasn't so wide bc still had a little space in sides guess prolly need me another one 🤷‍♀️ but I'm very happy with it sleep comfortable & was a good price🥰

NOTE TO SELLER and BUYER. This bed is definitely not light grey and the reason I’m only giving it one star. We wanted something darker but not to dark. From the picture it looks light grey but one you open it and get it laid out it’s an off white color that is definitely not light grey. It’s a beautiful bed but once the bed was unpacked by my amazing husband there was no way we could get it back in to return. I’m so upset it’s not darker like the picture shows, as I cancelled two orders to get this one based off the color. I do think the description should be updated to white with a hint of grey. We have kids who love to be in our room and a light linen color is not what we had in mind for that, so buyer beware!!!. This bed is not light grey.Assembly was easy. Using with adjustable bed frame. Took me about 45 min max to get everything assembled and set up. I have no other complaints except the color is very misleading.

Loved the look as it matched the side tables and kept it. You can’t store items underneath, sits low on the floor. This was a great buy.

Now I can leave a review…I’ve had this bed for a few weeks now, maybe 3. I read the reviews and was skeptical of some of the small things like the planks under the bed. There is no complaints. It is sturdy and a great value for your money. I looked at similar beds and this was the best buy. It was easy to assemble and fit perfectly in my bedroom. It was paired with a pillow top mattress for comfort and it sleeps well. The holes aligned perfectly when putting together. If you are contemplating about this purchase, I am saying get it!

This is the third upholstered bed we have purchased and the value and quality of the Mercer is outstanding. It's as good as the ones we've paid much more for. If you like the look online, you will be very pleased with your purchase. As others have said, it's more of an off white than a grey but it's a cool off-white, not yellow at all. It's very sturdy and only took about 2 hours for two of us to put together because every screw connection was positioned perfectly. I would recommend watching a video on how to put the wood slats into the metal support bars. We went a little wrong on that step and had to take them out which caused some connector feet to break. The mfg was very quick to send us out replacement ones. This bed is a winner!
