La ValleSan Marzano D.O.P. Tomatoes (9-pack)

If you like to cook "sauce" or "gravy," this is a must. In our mind, San Marzano tomatoes are the best tomatoes to use. They are of excellent quality and exceptional taste. Squeeze them while making "the sauce" to enhance the flavor.

The can were individually wrapped in bubble wrap and then protected with an addition layer of bubble wrap in the shipping box. There were a couple of small dents in two cans but I have become accustomed to this from both La Valle and others when special ordering tomatoes. The quality of the tomatoes is excellent. I have yet to be disappointed with this product.

Ordered 9 cans and all of them were dented. This is a premium product at a premium price and I should have received the product without damage. This will be my last order of La Valle tomatoes from Amazon.

I was hesitant to make this purchase because of the numerous reviews about dented cans and short expiration dates. I took a chance and ordered 9 cans. They were delivered the next day in perfect condition. Each can was individually wrapped in bubble wrap and placed inside a box. That box was placed in another box. Every can was perfect and the expiration date is 2 yrs out. I used a couple of cans to make a Bolognese sauce over the weekend. The tomatoes were beautiful. They were red, ripe, whole, and had great flavor. I highly recommend this product.

These are the best tasting tomatoes I have ever tasted and they definitely are worth every cent. They definitely make a difference in your food.I will order these from now on they are a little pricey but worth it!

I've purchased these tomatoes on 2 occasions, recently. Each can was individually enclosed in bubble wrap and the tops & bottoms also had a layer of bubble-wrap. This was then double-boxed for shipment. The cans may be opened like a can of soda. There is no need for a can opener. As for the quality,, they suit my taste, admirably. Given this and the current price structure of competitors, I will be a repeat customer into the forseeable future,... quite pleased!

Exactly what I ordered deluverd quickly and each can was individually wrapped in bubble wrap then boxed. Nice to see the care they take if a great product.

Ordered 461 ounces, as the Amazon listing posts. These are the normal 28 oz cans though, doubling the per ounce price. Only received 252 ounces. Good product, but the seller is misleading in the per ounce price as listed. Feeling a little taken ..
