Tossa is a superior quality rope for DIY, crafts and all types of rope art which is a long-standing best seller. It is a medium laid (medium twist) double yarn jute rope which means it is mid-weight and very forgiving of rough handling. The unusually high yarn count (5mm, 8 double yarns per ply and 6mm, 12 double yarns per ply) makes it almost as smooth as a single yarn rope but with all the durability of a double yarn. It benefits from wet treatment and needs some breaking in but it lasts and lasts, just getting better with age.

Great rope!
I have quite a bit of Esinem rope and it has become my go to rope for shibari. I have kits in this rope as well as his 5mm rope. You can't go wrong with this rope. It breaks in nicely. If you would like to speed up the process then I suggest you follow the instructions included for treating the rope.
