Limited space to store notes but a good safety measure. Looks like any normal belt. Plastic buckle not an issue.

Needed a new moneybelt for travel as mine had ... er.. shrunk This one does not scream quality - the belt itself is fine and the zipper works well but...as other reviewers have mentioned the plastic lightweight buckle does tend to pop off on occassion. If that is the case why 4 stars.. The buckle is attached to the belt by friction using a quite light gripper - oddly enough it is this part which tends to slip, not the part that goes around the waist to engage the clasp. However I have found this usually happens if I graunch the belt too tight and then sit down or make exaggerated movements. If I do the belt up just tight enough and not overtight then it actually works very well. I wasn't sure at first but as I had a trip within days I decided to keep it rather than return.. I am glad I did because it doesn't look like a money belt or that it has a secret compartment - I find my self using it as my go to belt andon the odd occassion i have the buckle slip it is dead simple to regrip it and takes mere seconds - well worth the small trouble for the unobtrusive design. I would buy another if I lost this one. Hope that helps your with your decision.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Great for holidays where security pickpocketing is an issue. Can carry your cash inside belt. Do need to fold the notes to get in which can then crease them. Beware some countries don’t take creased notes

I bought this belt to replace an old one bought in 2015 as its buckle had rusted. I was surprised to find out that the buckle of this belt was in plastic as it felt a bit flimsy. I wore it for about a week when I noticed that my denim felt a bit loose while walking and suddenly realised that the belt just gave it. The buckle simply detached from the belt making this item useless. Do not waste your money by buying this item.

The all plastic designs made it more convenient when travelling through airports. It was incredibly functional and the universal size helped as I'm a slim guy finding a belt that keeps my jeans up whilst doing my daily running around helps. As long as it holds up I'll consider picking up a couple of spares.

Well made & ideal for carrying loose currency or credit/debit card - Fiddly to use if looking to dip into it regularly though. The belt, as a belt, works fine so the zipped pocket just an added bonus.

Functional but not a fashionable buckle
