I purchased this hair dryer in 2015. It is still drying hair and is the best dryer I've had. The infrared light doesn't always come now, but it still dries my hair and I have not had heat damage. In consideration of its age and my current needs, I wish I could shrink this dryer into a travel size dryer. But other than that, I like my dryer alot as it continues to dry my hair up to this day 12/4/24. I can't speak for others, but the dryer purchased and received in 2015 by me still works to my satisfaction. If anything changes, I will post it.

i use this hair dryer when we are boondocking in the RV with limited electric (using generator). This is powerful enough to dry my hair quickly IMO. (I have thick long hair). I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it! It doesn't get so hot its burning my head, but it does the job in decent time.

This is the fourth time we have bought this same hair dryer. It's very powerful and does a great job but its durability is an issue. Durability has varied a lot. Used by the same two people in the same way, the one we bought in 2014 lasted 3 years, the one bought in 2017 lasted 6 years, but the one in 2023 lasted only 2 years. I don't know that that means, but it's true.

The media could not be loaded. I have been barbering for 30 years and have gone through dozens of blow dryers. This is the best blow dryer I have ever owned! It's not too loud, it uses infrared ion technology that you can see when you look in the nozzle as it heats up. But it doesn't get too hot! I can blow dry longer here with a vent brush or round brush rather quickly. I can also use the high heat and high volume to blow dry flat tops. Can't say enough about this blow dryer! Have the nine foot cord.

I liked that this hairdryer was small. It dried my hair as well as a larger dryer and wasn’t too loud. I used the cool shot button a lot. It lasted around two years then died and smoke came out of both ends. Considering I was using the cool shot at the time, it didn’t overheat, just burned out. But for the price I suppose I can’t complain, although I was hoping it would last longer as I used low and cool shot so much so it didn’t have as much stress on it as it could have. I just bought a different brand off Amazon to replace it.

I am a retired stylist and I love this dryer! It is fast, powerful and quiet. It’s a fair price too!

Update: I was using this dryer on vacation, and it shorted out on me. It generally takes me about 5-7 minutes to dry my hair. I use the high setting first, then the low setting with a round brush. I was using the low setting when it seemed to be louder than normal. Then I heard a pop, it stopped working, and I smelled something burning. I had to go out and buy a new one at the last minute during our trip (I hate hotel hair dryers).Not very happy with the fact that this only lasted a few months. I will generally get a new hair dryer about every 2 years. This one was maintained well, and I had just cleaned the lint filter prior to our trip. Changing the review to 1 star because I had to replace it and I'm out of the return window.Original review: I was looking for a lightweight hairdryer that would dry my hair quickly and (somewhat) quietly. This is definitely the one! I compared several different hair dryers here on Amazon and went into Ulta to look at some in person. I had a hard time buying a hair dryer that I couldn't hold in my hand first to feel the fit, but I'm glad I went ahead and did.This hair dryer is definitely slimmer than my previous dryer, and a lot more lightweight, which is great for traveling. It's not real quiet, but much quieter than any other hair dryer I've had in the past. I have an almost 2 year old daughter with a lot of hair, and I always dry her hair after a bath. This one is quiet enough that we can still talk to each other and not have to yell over the sound of the dryer.My only complaint is that the concentrator nozzle has a loose fit and is very easily rotated. I have to stop a few times to turn it back to a desired position and then resume drying my hair. Not that big of a deal, but my last hair dryer's concentrator nozzle didn't move once it was on.
