SUNWAYMAN R02A FLASHLIGHT - Black
9**9
Nasty crap!
Light flickers and goes out when switching between off, low and high. This is my second sunwayman and both have done the same thing. Buy a maglite...

Just about perfect if a little pricey
I've recently reviewed my keychain flashlight carry and gave this another go from my collection. The almost USP feature I really like is that it is a twisty and offers two levels of sequential brightness, low and then high. Some other twisties, eg Thrunite and Olight select the output by repeated twisting and untwisting. Cumbersome when its just a door or a path which needs illuminating. Twisties also tend to be shorter. Eh Lumintop?

The perfect keychain flashlight
A terrific little flashlight, perfect for a keychain. Previously I'd used cheap little LED flashlights on my keychain, but they were never wholly satisfactory--some broke in half, some cast a rather blue light, and many used tiny button-cell batteries that were expensive to replace. My prior favorites had been the Coast 7839, which was durable (being made from aluminum) and tiny (2 1/2" by 7/16" round) and fairly bright, but used LR754 batteries; and the Coast 75331, which was also durable aluminum and fairly bright and ran on a single AAA battery, but at more than 3 1/2" long and 5/8" round, it was a bit too bulky for a keychain. The Sunwayman R02A is right in between: it's just under 3" long and about 1/2" diameter, only a little larger than the smaller Coast, but it runs on a single AAA battery, just like the larger coast, and it's also made of durable aluminum--and the coating is holding up better than it did on the smaller Coast. That's already enough to make it my flashlight of choice, but the two brightness modes are what make it stellar--twist the head a little, and you get a low light mode, adequate for getting your keys into the lock, but twist it further, and it jumps into a very bright mode, which is great for finding lost objects. It's bright enough to completely swamp an iPhone 5 flashlight at the same distance, so that you can no longer see the effect the iPhone's light is having on the scene until you move away the Sunwayman. And since the batteries are available everywhere, I never have to worry about it running out. Highly recommended.
