So far so good but
I’m not sure it will stay in place. The 4 suction cups are pretty strong but with swimming it moves and detaches. I know the vinyl pool use is not necessarily made for it so I’m keeping that in mind. I like that it shines across the width of the 18ft pool so it will be perfect if it stays in place but we will see. Initially, as soon as you quit touching the solar panel the light turns off but I left it hooked up and it eventually started working. So time will tell.

love this
I bought about 10 last year, when the pool light broke. starting buying more this year. I have them pointing in my inground pool while the pool is running at night they reflect off the water on to the trees and house have a quivering affect "Looks beautiful" 3 ways to use them I only stick them in the ground. Also had them out all winter in other places and still work.

Light works well, suction cups don’t work on my pool liner.
The light operates for at least 4 hours most nights on the brightest setting. I needed to use a small piece of plexiglass, hung from the side of the pool, to suction cup the light to. Has held now for a couple of weeks.

It works
If you want light in your pool at night and don’t have power lights, this solar option is a great back-up plan. It fully lit the 12 ft end of my pool and added much comfort and safety

Trouble staying suctioned
It looks great when it is properly suctioned. I have mine suctioned to the old pool light that doesn’t work anymore and it loses suction and falls off once every 1-2 days and we have to get back in the pool to put it back on.

Amazing!
Amazing! It illuminates our in-ground pool beautifully, as the original pool light doesn’t work anymore and we didn’t want to spend $1500 to fix it. This device solved the problem, It lightens the entire, medium/large size in-ground pool! Play with the beam light to make sure it hits the end of the pool to illuminate it evenly. The suction cups do work but won’t attach to our pool material. We previously purchased rechargeable pool lights with plastic attachments around jetts, I was able to attach the suctions cups to that part around the jet. I would probably be able to attach it to the old light too but wasn’t brave to jump in yet. I just installed it so can’t speak how long this will work. The only thing you have to figure out is what to do with the cable and where to put the solar panel. I’m planning to place a large hibiscus plant to cover the cord and then have the solar panel hidden outside of the pool area.

Great little light!
We have a 15 x 24 above-ground pool and our light blew. Thought I'd try this little light - So glad I did!It lights up our pool nicely! I paid attention to another reviewer: I used a clear plastic cake plate to put the light on with the suction cups (has held for 3 weeks now), then I used Gorilla Tape to tape the plate to the inside of the pool. Wa La! Easy peasy, adds ambiance, and the price was right.

no suction at all
Should be a good one but you have to leave it hanging because there is no suction powerf

Good value solar pond light that stay lit all night
This is a good value pond light that, although only being in full sun for about half the day, stays brightly lit all night. My previous pond lights, at only 18 months old, stay lit for less than two hours at night now and their solar panel has visibly deteriorated, so it will be interesting to see how this one performs in comparison. It seems well built, bright and durable and has replaceable batteries according to the documentation (via removing screws). A disadvantage is its light colour, which is easily seen in the pond. As with other pond lights, its mount (with or without suction cups) is less than ideal for ponds with rocky bottoms. This and others seem more for smooth sided koi ponds than suction cups can adhere to, than natural looking rocky ponds. The base needs to be wedged under a rock to hold it in place. The suction cups can be removed from the flat base, which is helpful.Initial impressions are great. If it lasts well over the next few months I'll probably get another.

Great product
Very sturdy, good quality, reasonable light output. Better than a lot of other products priced similarly.
