Does what I needed
I like the way the display scrolls through the input, battery and load data. I am using the load program to switch on my garden lights at dusk and switch them off a few hours later

Feels solid
Build quality feels good and general operation is very smooth.Cycling through the menu is a bit laborious with just one menu button, but can make use of the comm port.

Short life
The same as some others reported, worked fine for nineteen month's and then packed up ! Thinking about getting another one only because would fit into space on board vacated by old one. Got no help from supplier (lowenergysupermarket). Bit expensive if you have to buy another one every year or two ! Pat.

Inaccurate voltage
I ordered this controller because it has a "user" setting for the battery, because my gel batteries need a different voltage from the standard gel setting. I checked the manual on the manufacturer's website, which showed that you can set the various voltages, etc on the controller. Once I received it, this turned out to no longer be the case, they have made some changes. So, I needed to order a separate cable to do this. With this cable you can connect to either Windows PC (bit of a hassle, but worked in the end) or Android phone (very hit and miss, not reliable). It turned out that the voltage the controller is set to is inaccurate by 0.1-0.15V, (it regulates too high), which is a significant error when it comes to battery charging. You can try and get around it by tweaking the voltage in the app, but since it is not consistent (as mentioned from 0.1 to 0.15V off) I returned the controller.Other observations:- the display is only readable when you look at it at a right angle, from slightly above or below it is difficult to make out- Android app is for old versions of Android- the manual for the controller is OK with some poor or strange English (e.g. "this product is artistic"), the one for the Windows app is very poor.I ordered a Victron instead.
