Don't need to drink water after consuming one. The flavor is pretty good.

Early view is mixed
I am not a fan of thick, semi solid energy gel. Some of the of brands are so think you almost need to chew the paste. Powergel has always been a fav because it was a bit more liquid. This hydro takes it to a new level. You really do just drink it from the pack.Flavor - I've never had a mojito. But I was hoping for something a bit sour/lime flavored. I will admit the flavor took me by surprise. Its a strong flavor. I did sort of choke it down. its not the worst flavor of gel I have had. Maybe it will grow on me. Powergel tangerine was my all-time favorite flavor. I would like to see something like that in the hydroPerformance - i've only used it once ona 40mile bike ride. But it seems to do that job.flexibility - the pack is soft and flexible. Easy to fit into a bento box, or cycle jersey pocket.I have a 24 pack. So it would be awhile before I need more. Would I buy again. Probably yes. But I might experiment with another flavor if they have one.

Arrived all ripped and wet
Some gels were broken and leaking.Box was wet and broken.

Some of the gel packs had opened/broken
Some of the gel packs had opened/broken inside the mailing package and the contents had spilled over all the rest, making all of them very sticky.

Really feel like this gel helped me
Was first Gel of its kind I've tried and I honestly feel like it gave me extra stamina in tough long runs and my one marathon with it so far. Flavor was ok. Was larger than most gels I've used but still manageable to carry. Was hard to get entire contents out and I think package could be designed better for that. But overall I honestly loved it because I believe its efficacy was. I do think it really helped me push when I was tired. I would recommend this to any marathoner/ultramarathoner wholeheartedly.

Not such a fan of the flavour
I very much like all of PowerBar's products, including this one - just in a different flavour. Not the biggest fan of mojito flavoured power gel.
