Hard to find -worth the search!
I really don't leave reviews often. But I was so surprised at how much I liked this that I thought if anyone else was looking I would highly suggest giving this a shot.I'm using it as a replacement for a holder on a Harley Davidson V-ROD. (the colors even match)After a while the old one kept turning on the bar no matter how much I tightened it. I finally went to far and it snapped. This doesn't involve any tools -just a easy turn knob/ratchet system. I put a rubber lining to protect the metal and keep it from turning like the last one- but it probably isn't necessary. The phone holder itself starts out at about the size of a deck of cards and opens up large enough to hold my giant iPhone with a large Life Proof case.It holds it very tightly but is very easy to put in and take out.I looked at a lot of cases. Each one seemed difficult in one aspect or another.Everything about this was simple -and that was what I was looking for.Now that I've used it and trust it- I want to let anyone else looking for an easy to install, use, and hold their phone tight product to give this a go. Plus it's only $14. You can't ask for much more. This is definitely under rated. Great find.

My $800 mistake
For the first few rides using this mount, I was relatively happy. It does rattle around a bit over rough surfaces but was easy to use and install. However, today I learned that using this mount with my iPhone 8 plus was an $800 mistake. I hit a sharp bump while riding at moderate speed and the iPhone FLEW out of the mount, smashing on the pavement. Now I need to buy a new phone. I think in the future I would use a mounting system that grips the phone more securely. The only thing securing the phone to this mount is the built in spring tension, which clearly is insufficient if you plan to ride on anything other than very smooth pavement.Beware, if you plan to ride over bumps this is not the product for you.

Rattle Rattle Rattle!
I really like the operation of this mount, it is easy to get the phone in and out with 1 hand. Overall it doesn't seem very durable though. For the price it's not bad, but the mount doesn't seem to hold very tight on the bars. My biggest complaint is the noise it makes when there is no phone in it. It is an unbearable amount of plastic rattle noise when going down the road with it empty. It still makes noise with a phone in it but nothing quite like it does empty.

I have owned several…
I previously owned various phone holders for my bike over the past few years. This one is the best so far. My biggest complaint about the others is they weren’t very sturdy for the rough terrain of New York City streets (pot holes everywhere). This phone holder out performs the other ones. I could bike down stairs and my phone barely moves. I have an iPhone max and the big size of the phone makes it susceptible to jiggling when mounted to a bike but not in this holder.

Have a large phone? No problem!
I'm too simple of a customer to provide a review: I needed a phone holder for my electric bicycle that would allow me to keep the phone protection case on. This phone holder did exactly that. My big, bulky phone is held securely with this device while I'm biking. I am happy with my purchase. The design and quality of this product deserve 5 stars from my perspective. Thank you for selling this product on Amazon.

Fits all sizes
I purchased three mounts for my boyfriends motorcycle before I found this one. The rubber zip tie holds it in place no matter what size handlebars your bike has been upgraded to. Even going at speeds of… Not going to self incriminate here, but let’s just say FAST, the phone stayed in place! 10/10 would recommend!

Holds phone on handlebars, only need one hand to remove and insert.
Holds the phone in view on your bicycle's handlebars. Remove with one hand by pressing the release button. With a bit of practice you can also insert your phone into the holder using one hand.I bought this after I read an advertisement for a more expensive holder. This cheaper one does everything fine. I see no reason to spend more money.

Easy to use, seems well-built
I've only had it a few weeks, so it's early to tell how it will endure, but it's off to a good start. I have a very narrow mounting bar, and I can't make this thing's clamp tight enough to hold steady, but by adding some rubbery material over the bar, that is taken care of. Opens very wide, making phone insertion and removal super easy.

Good item but not perfect
Really good mechanism to hold and release the phone. However the strap holding it to the bike is not good as it slips on the treads when tightening is attempted. The phone keeps slipping under the handle bar, and I fear my expensive phone will fall to the pavement. I Will not use this product again.

Nice!
Finally I test it on my golf cart a few months after receiving it, very satisfied.

Falls off, don't buy.
This phone holder falls off all the time, during road bike rides which is supposed to be "smooth riding" ... wouldn't stand a chance on mountain biking. You'll be riding at 25 to 30 km/h and it will just fall off your bike which is:a) inconvenientb) expensive to replace the phone when it breaksc) dangerous because your instinct is to stop immediately, while there might be cars behind youDo. Not. Buy. This....

Great unit for money
Easy to install, ability to rotate portrait to landscape, fairly light weight. Sits fairly high on my bar. You will need some double sided tape to ensure it doesn’t flop around.
