LyShade Triangle Sun Shade Sail Canopy - UV Block for Patio and Outdoor (9'10" X 9'10" X 9'10", Cadet Blue)

The shape you see in the image is not the shape of the shade. That is the reason I ordered this one. The actual shape is ok but it is a severely curved triangle and doesn't provide much actual shade. the actual shade is about a 4ft x 4ft triangle in the middle. Ive attached picture. Quality seems fine but I'm gonna need like 3 of these to provide any actual shade.

I researched as many sites as I could and watched as many Youtube videos possible before I made my purchase so I feel I educated myself enough to order. Not ever having a shade sail, I was a little weary so the plan was to ease into our project with a small purchase first and then upgrade later. We measured our area and ordered two sails. Of course they arrived right away. They feel very "plasticy", and I knew they would based on other reviews, however once up they work and look amazing! We erected two 10' wooden 4x4 posts in the ground and attached between that and the house. We bought our hardware locally. We made sure to allow extra room between our connection points for stretch. This was the hardest part trying to position all the connection points for a good taught tightness between the the sides. Our goal was to get the western sun/heat off the front door. This was accomplished with our project. In hind site I would have ordered a little larger to gain a bit more shade. We put up two triangles red & green and the neighbors all think they compliment our house and decor! I would order again from LyShade -- great product so far.

Exactly what we wanted. Pretty much ideal for the application we had in mind. Tough fabric, quality hardware and good stitching. These should last an number of years. We were replacing two shades we previously purchased that were still fine except for some fading of the fabric in intense sunlight. We decided to go to four sails instead of two so ordered four new ones of consistent color rather that add two new ones to the two older ones with slight fading. As the new ones fade over time will be able to add back in the used ones over time. Have no idea how many years we will get out of these but had 5 years on the two originals with plenty of life still left in them. We do not leave them up over winter as the snow load would be a problem. Only small complaint is that these new sails are made so "tightly" that the edges tend to curve inward as they are stretched for the 3- point attachment. The older sails did not curve in quite so much between attachments so that we got slightly more shaded coverage out of the originals. Not really a complaint, but just an observation on how they are made. We are delighted with these, just as we were with the original ones. Very stylish and a great source of shade for our patio. You can be very resourceful about type of attachment and height of attachment so as to give a very aerodynamic look to these shades as opposed to some covers that are just a flat shade with no style. These stand up to the wind very well if they are properly tightened using the adjustable hardware. They move slightly with the wind, which is good, but do not flap.

Exceptional price and product. We’ve purchased several of these for various projects. We like layering the triangle shade sails at different angles to create a colorful statement and additional shade for our yard.We’ve had two up for nearly three years and it’s still problem free and as brightly colored as the day installed. The lime green is a particular favorite of ours. Some of the other vendors take on “lime/apple green” is more “Miami Vice” retro green.

Just received this the other day and haven't had a chance to put it up yet but am looking forward to having this up for the summer. The size of this shade was just right for what I need it for. The stitching on it seems to be sturdy and durable (I was concerned about getting a product that the wind might tear the hooks but this should withstand the wind), and the fabric also seems like it will last (thick enough to last). I ordered the terra cotta color and it is the same as the picture.

I love these! They came yesterday and I put them up today immediately to help shade the back from some very hot heat rays. The size was perfect for my space and using 2 in an overlapping pattern gave me the coverage needed and the cool look I was going for. The material appears sturdy and the ends have a ring that goes over a hook (you need to go get these and install yourself) very well. There is some thin rope that you can use to secure the rings to a post etc. The color was a little more light green than I anticipated. It is like the color of fake grass or lawn. I think it works though. I highly recommend. As I use it I will update my review. For price I would try these out.

It's good quality from what I can see so far, it's been up for a month with high winds and 113 degree temps. It's not very big so I need another one but so far it is accomplishing the intended duty of keeping the morning sun out of my living room window and shading some of my cactus outside.
