Moen Brushed Nickel Bathroom Safety Ultima 18-Inch Designer Bathroom Grab Bar with Curl Grip for Elderly or Handicapped, R8718D3GBN

I am a bathroom remodel designer and these are my go to for handicap bars! I always use Moen. This style is chic and modern. Easy to install and durable! Also, the price is unbeatable!

I am very pleased with the design, quality, ruggedness, and comfortable hand grip design of this Moen grab bar. graI installed the Moen Grab Bar on porcelain tiles which was difficult an time consuming because I had to drill the six, 1/4" holes through the porcelain Tiles as well as concrete board to mound the grab bar to the wood studs holding up the wall in the shower. Once the six holes were made through the porcelain tiles and concrete board, the grab bar was easily installed using the 2" stainless steel screws that were proved with the Moen garb bar. I have a 36" Moen grab bar that I plan to install next week. Great Product for a reasonable price that will last for years.

It does the job and I would buy again but I would get a bigger size for wall in bathroom toilet area

These look better than most grab bars. Something you can't see from the photo is the finger placements on the back side of the bar. Got these for my 93 year old grandmother who has just come to live with us, and she loves them. We have one 12 inch bar in the shower. We have 2 of the 18 inch size also; one in the shower next to a built in bench seat and the other outside the shower next to the toilet. They are sturdy, and are weathering the shower water well so far!

Grab bar looks good and is sturdy. Bar comes with six 2" long screws and instructions recommend using a 1/8" drill bit for pilot holes. I did that initially and it was almost impossible for me to drive these long screws the final 1/2" or so into ~20 year old pine studs. I do recommend the product, but I also recommend EITHER using a 9/64" drill bit for the pilot holes OR buying 1-1/2" or shorter replacement screws from your favorite hardware store.

Como mencioné, es elegante, minimalista, cómodo (agarre de 1+1/4 in), caro pero de calidad aceptable, el color es muy agradable combinándolo con otros accesorios y detalles del baño o zona donde se vaya a instalar.Recomiendo sellar un poco las conexiones a la pared con silicón o sello de fuerza baja (en las bridas y tapas de la misma), se ancla bien aunque en ciertos acabados puedes requerir diferente longitud de anclaje o herramientas sobre todo en tablaroca, en mi caso lo instalé en un muro de concreto y quedó muy firme, claro limpiando y preparando las perforaciones para anclarlo a la pared y usando los diámetros correctos de perforación y "taquete".Aunque el producto es caro, su apariencia lo refleja, la barra es ligera y está aprobada para personas con alguna discapacidad, esto claramente, si sigues las normas e indicaciones para una correcta instalación, las tapas de las bridas quedan muy bien ajustadas dan una apariencia limpia y uniforme, quizá se merece 4.5 de 5 estrellas, pues el único "pero" que le pongo es que el calibre del asidero debió ser algo más grueso, pero no digo que sea insuficiente. Es un producto recomendable.
