My 12 year old loves this set. She is new to Manga and this is a really good quality set. Be careful opening the colors, very easy to spill and end up with bright pink everywhere. Will order again when she runs out.

It’s okay, not for small kids due to the exacto knife. The paint is all dried up and it spilled. We bought 2. I wouldn’t recommend.

Bought as a gift for my sister and when she saw it she was so excited she couldn't breath. Pigments are bright. She dilutes with distilled water. I have some calligraphy pens and some paint brushes she also likes to use. I haven't seen her finished products yet, but she's loving everything in the kit, aside from the pencil (she's got an artists set)

It is a beautiful set and my niece was thrilled to get it for her birthday, but some of the inks leaked. Amazon replaced the set but it was still a problem. I did not complain twice. I buy icing colors and they are sealed under the cap. Perhaps that would help in shipping. Again, the set is really cool and my niece loved it.

It's not really a very good quality, but if you're unsure about whether or not you're interested in working with ink it might be for you. It's definitely a learning set.The nib holder is nice, but the nibs themselves are of pretty cheap quality and feel sort of flimsy. Especially if you tend towards the heavy handed.The watercolors are nice, but nothing special. The green pot seemed to develop a leak or a crack or something. All the inks were wrapped in plastic, so it didn't get everywhere, but I've been too wary of making a mess to unwrap the green paint pot.Everything else you can buy separately for about the same cost.It's inspired me to acquire better quality ink and nibs and continue on the path of doing my illustrations with ink and a dip pen though.

We bought this for our daughter who is into Manga and its a nice set. It comes in a heavy duty cardboard box with a magnetic closure. It comes with a variety of ink and nibs as well as an exacto knife set. I wouldn't suggest giving this to a younger child because as an adult I got ink everywhere. its a fun learning set and would recommend

My granddaughter loves it. She is too young to use the exacto knife. This item may have been a return, as the box had been opened and there were no directors in the box. Everything else was there and unused.

The product arrived with two of the watercolors totally empty and most of the rest partially spilled. There was no damage to shipping box, the containers just seemed to be poorly sealed. I requested a replacement, which arrived with the white ink spilled all over the box and supplies (none left to use) and several watercolors again spilled. I pieced parts from the the two kits together so that my daughter had a set with at least some of each color, but she still did not get the full amount of paint that should have come with the kit. The kit would be great if it came packaged to withstand shipping, but that does not seem to be the case. Disappointing.
