2 design flaws
Two design problems. 1st the brads (or iglets?) That cap each spoke are extended beyond the center shaft. Thus make it easily damaged from bouncing on ground or off walls while carrying. I saw this right off and knew I would have to be delicate with it. This leads us i to the second flaw.2nd Umbrella shaft slid out of the handle. After just 1 week of normal use. I walked out of work and was excited it had already stopped raining. So I walked with a bounce in my step, song in my heart and twirled my umbrella 1, 2, 3 times and on the 3rd time, out shot the shaft and all the important parts. My heart sank as it sailed up, arced and decended. Sure enough, it landed on the brads (or iglets) on the end of the spokes. 3 bent and 2 snapped off. Leaving the umbrella with a floppy side.Don't by if you want to use this umbrella in any typical manner. It's only designed to open and close in isolation.
