I was pretty skeptical at first. I just took a massive road trip to California with a Thule box on top. I am on the shorter side, so getting in the box is not entirely fine without trying to dirty my backseat of my Subaru. I ordered it because why not? This thing felt pretty secure on the door latch, And definitely makes getting into a box much easier. Absolutely recommend it

I originally bought this for my wife who is 5”2’ and always has to have me wash the top of her 2018 Nissan Rogue or get/put things on the roof rack. As you will see from the unboxing video, ours came with a velvet carrying case but no instructions. Luckily installation is pretty self explanatory (see pics). My wife was easily able to install this and reach items in the roof rack on her own. My co-worker who is 6”5 and 250lbs stress tested this once it was installed and it felt solid and didn’t budge. It’s supposed to be rated for over 500lbs and from the feel of it, i’m sure that it probably will hold that with no problem. Buy with confidence. Side note- we installed this on a 2018 Nissan Rogue, but given the design of the unit, I am fairly confident it will work on pretty much any car, suv, van, truck out there. It uses the inside door latch and car structure for support which pretty much any vehicle I have seen has.

Need one to put stuff on my roof basket without always having to step on my rear tires or carry a ladder with me. This works pretty good. I weigh 175lbs and it held up good. Not sure about 200lbs tho. Didnt want to use my car to test it. The base has a rubber protective end cover to prevent scratching the paint off from the inner door frame. Comes with a nice storage bag and small enough to put in my glove compartment. Recommend this for camping and if your car is lifted with a roof basket or you use your roof racks alot. Makes getting things off a lot easier.

Holds a solid 200 plus man, I am so excited to use it this summer. I am only 5'7, my husband 6' and I cant reach the top cargo container. With this I'll be able to load and unload the cargo carrier so much easier. I'm a believer

Easy to use and sturdy! I needed this for my SUV to load bikes on to my roof rack. This step is very easy (didn’t need instructions) to use and so far it seems sturdy. I also like the little safety feature, glass breaker, that it comes with, so that I can break out of my car in case of emergencies. Overall pretty happy!

I have a Nissan xTerra, which comes standard with a roof rack. The roof rack is sometimes hard to reach. So this really helps. It's solid with a rubber back so it doesn't damage the paint. It hooks solidly into both the driver and passenger door latches. It feels solid under my feet and I can see waay over the top of the SUV now.Very handy little tool. I keep it in a tool kit in my car, along with things like jumper cables and emergency lights. Totally great product. I love it!

I tried to use it to go to the top of the car roof, it is very stable, I have benn looking stuff like this cuz last year when I travel, I put luggage on top of my car and I am not tall enough. It gave me tough time when I was setting it up and putting my luggage up. This will be a big help.

Very easy to install. Very durable. Will make putting the Christmas tree on the rack easier!!
