excellent quality material, love the little coasters (now can serve tea without touching the hot outer surface of the teacup) and I use everyone of the tools every single time I serve tea. This is exactly as described, I'm very glad I ordered this!

The word tea carved on the stand doesnt go all the way through the bamboo just partially. still looks good and the tea cup coasters are a nice touch.

The bamboo is light colored, smooth and high quality. It was just what I needed to complete my tea set. I particularly like the compact design because it fits in my bamboo tea tray and allows room for tea pots and cups.

While nothing was damaged, everything was left to rattle around with no padding. There was evidence of oily spots throughout the box, indicating the wood had bounced around and rubbed quite a bit in shipping. I’m going to have to wash and oil the entire set to keep the wood from falling apart. That being said, the set has a toy-like feel, which will be good enough for “playing at the tea ceremony.” It’s ok for the cost, but if you’re serious about the procedure, you might want to spend a little more to get a better quality set.

It looks very nice, sturdy and made of bamboo. The tools are a somewhat crude and rough, particularly the flat stick and the needle. But serviceable and attractive overall.

I am delighted with this lovely tea tool set. Beautiful.
