Shark GS500 Handheld Steamer Pruple(Renewed)

I enjoy using this rather than getting out the iron and ironing board. It does well on things that are slightly wrinkled, but shirts and dresses that are extremely wrinkled need an ironing board. I use this whenever I possibly can!

I bought this one (refurbished) to replace one that clogged (because someone used tap water instead of distilled). They are great steamers that can really get the wrinkles out!!

I purchased my first Shark (at a store) and regretted not taking it out of town to my niece's wedding. Soooo I purchased another one (at a store).My sister did the honor of pressing the female wedding attire including the wedding dress. I was too intimidated to press fine clothing. After I saw it was not going to harm the fabric, I knew I would do the same for my daughter's wedding.My daughter married two months later and I used mine for my "mother of the bride" dress. I was able to send it over to the hotel for the groom's family to use.My dad flew in and inquired about having his suit jacket professionally pressed, due to time constraints, that would have been a huge burden for me to add to my list of last minute responsibilities. The Shark was a huge blessing. My mom was able to press his suit and it turned looked perfect.She was really impressed and talked about getting her own.My mom grew tired of paying for professional pressing for my dads suits, so I ordered her a Shark from Amazon. I had it delivered to her house. She had a stroke two years ago and she has weak hands, yet claims she really like the Shark.When my son moves out, I'll give him one!!

Didn't notice that it was a renewed product when I purchased. But had high hopes because it came and was very clean and nicely packaged. But....the steam function did not work. I have used this product before and I know how to operate it, unfortunately it didn't produce any steam. These steamers work wonderfully and do a great job if working properly.

Haven’t tried to use it because it is very heavy and hard for me to handle

I bought this refurbished at a big discount. It still looks very nice and all the pieces were included. It is certainly not as powerful as my stand-up Rowenta is, but it is great that it is so portable. I use it on the bedcovers, curtains, and I even brought it to a friends to steam a dress she had purchased online. I have also used is a steam cleaner for my car. I will give it 4 stars only just because I know how powerful the stand-up steamers are and this doesn't do as good of a job, but as stated, there are certain situations that it is perfect for.

This product is great , it is a wonderful tool for my mom she uses it with ease and on a daily basis, it really allows you to take better care of your clothes

As a renewed item, I did save money, but the device doesn’t work as well as my first one I bought from the store and paid more money for. It take longer to make steam, and uses more water than my older unit.
