How did you come up with the idea for this product? Pete: It is an idea that comes from our own life experiences. We both are parents of children with nut allergies. Not only was it difficult for my wife and I to find snacks that were safe for our daughter, Abby, but her friends' parents were constantly asking us what they could serve that would be appropriate. That's when I realized there needs to be a brand that stands for great taste and safety for people with nut allergies. I actually came up with the idea when I was flying across the country on a JetBlue flight, and today we are the most popular item in the JetBlue snack basket--I love the way we have come full circle. Sometimes Normal is Better than Homemade
Words alone cannot express the gratitude I have for the founders, management, and employees of Skeeter Nut Free for making products that look and taste “normal” (read: what my daughter’s friends eat).As a mother of a 5 year-old with a life-threatening peanut allergy, I live in the kitchen. We make all our meals including breads, ice cream, sauces and snacks…only flour, milk, eggs, meat, and butter comes into my kitchen in a package. Generally, most food that comes out of a package leads to hives that last weeks, or worse, an ER visit.I’m happy to bake and cook all the items my kid needs to be nourished AND the fun-stuff similar to what other kids eat. But she’s a kid! And feels she’s missing out on whatever delicacy exists in those mysterious commercial snack bags her friends eat.So when I take a box of Skeeter’s mini cookies into her class and the kids choose those instead of their snack package, it is a EUREKA(!) moment that I cannot duplicate in my kitchen.Thank you for these products…they make for a happy Kindergartner and peaceful mom =)

Yummy & healthy!!!
Absolutely delicious cookies my 4 children love love love!! I purchase so many different snacks each month trying to get healthy, organic or all natural options for my family. When I found Skeeter nut free, i have to say I was sceptical. My husband who snacks as much as the kids said wow theses are as good as chips ahoy but without all the artificial crap. And the double chocolate are better I thought FINALLY a healthy cookie that I don't have to force the family to eat.. Now we just need to get Skeeters to make a full box of double chocolate!!!

Best Shortbread Cookie around!!!
These are delicious...tiny bite sized shortbread that actually tastes like shortbread. I can't believe no one else bought the shortbread, according to the reviews. I suppose everyone likes chocolate chip better. Well, for your information, you are missing out on one tasty cookie. These are just as tasty as Walker's Shortbread 'biscuits' from England and half the price at least.

I have severe food allergies tree nuts being the worst when i was tested
as soon as i got these cookies and opened and taste them i had to write a review. I have severe food allergies tree nuts being the worst when i was tested. i have not had a chocolate chip cookie in years , I found Mrs. Thinster they were good but to thin for real flavor. i was a little skeptical about the taste there are great, good taste and i love that they use whole wheat they are good for you and taste great. I will definitely buy them again and again thank you Skeeter

Kids Love Them!
Bought these for my 10-years old granddaughter and she absolutely loves them. She had developed a nut allergy a little over a year ago, and there is not much in the way of ready-made nut-free snacks available in the stores. I was happy to find these, and happier that she enjoys them. Will be buying more for her!

Yummy snacks for the whole family
I was very excited to come across these snacks. The fact that they are nut free and say so on the front of the box makes our son feel safe and happy. I spend hours in grocery stores reading the back labels, I wish more snacks did this. The mini chocolate chip cookies are delicious, we gobbled up the first box in one day. I can't wait to try the other Skeeter Snack offerings and hope they make it to stores in California someday. Thank you Skeeter Snacks!

The cookies were phenomenal. My nut allergic son loves them and so do we. But, Amazon's vendor (we were on a subscription) started sending me old stock. Cookies were expiring the next month. So I've cancelled my subscription. But.... Other than that, the product is top quality.

Bought Variety Package and got only chocolate chip
I bought the variety package and received only chocolate chip cookies, was disappointed with that mistake but the cookies are really good tho. I couldnt return it because my kids saw the box and asked to eat it lol.. Hope to get the right product in the future.
