I highly recommend this product. The sponges are highly absorbent and easy to use.These sponges are also easy to clean. After I am finished using the sponge for the day, I soak overnight in warm water with a couple drops of tea tree oil and a little bit of baking soda before rinsing them out and drying them on a rack. When I am finished using the sponge for the week, I soak it overnight in 3/4 cup warm water and 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide. This keeps the sponges looking good as new!

I haven't been using these long, so my review could change, but for now, I'm very impressed!These are so absorbent and comfortable, and they rinse out completely with ease. I trimmed the cotton strings by ~2". I ordered the multi pack. I haven't tried resizing them yet, but I will probably order medium in the future.Make sure to sanitize them every single day with 3 drops of the included tea tree oil in 1 cup of warm water. Also, try to give them a nourishing baking soda soak (1T-1c warm water) 1x/mo to extend the life.My only complaint is that I wish they came with a mesh bag for drying and a lined linen/muslin one for daily carrying and storage.

These took foreveeerrrr to come. I know that the shipper has mentioned this but still, I wish they were on some kind of faster shipping because they are great. So much better than Jade & Pearl because they come with the string attached, just like a regular tampon. I got the medium size and it came with 2 packets with 3 sponges in each. I did not receive a bottle of tea tree oil (so I took 1 star off for that and the slow shipping) but I always have a bottle on hand. 1 packet was the silk kind and the other was the honeycomb kind. I haven't tried the honeycomb kind, but the silk one was very soft, easy to insert and remove. It holds about a tampons worth. Clean up is easy - I wash them with a natural soap and then soak them in hydrogen peroxide or hot water and tea tree oil. I did not boil them before the first use as the Jade & Pearl instructions had mentioned that this reduces the lifespan of a sponge. I just soaked it in tea tree oil for an hour. I wish they came with a wet/dry bag or some other carrying bag.

They take a while to come but once they do its a lovely package with cute little sea shells and the sponges do need to be boiled but not for very long, I added some of the tea tree oil they provided to soften them up and it worked like a charm.After a couple cycles of use one started coming apart and lost the string, it was no biggy until it ripped in two when I was taking it out to rinse it! I got it out and it's fine now but it was a little alarming.They also smell a little gross when you take them out, that might just be the smell of my blood or something but it's definitely not my favorite smell lolRegardless of its cons I still am never going back to plastic or cotton products ever again and swear by these puppies

First of all, these are amazing! I bought another brand & thought they were good......until I got these. I noticed with the other ones, they were uncomfortable to insert, they weren't nearly as soft. When I first got these, I was like wow, they're kinda big, but once I cleaned them & saw how amazingly soft they are, it's not going to be a problem at all. You can fold/ball the sponge into a tiny ball. I have a heavy flow on the 2nd to 3rd day. I can't rave about these enough. Oh..... & they have a string attached for easy removal. Wife needed a change in tools to used due to changes from giving birth to four kids. Came across this product, looked into it, and decided to give it a try. Huge success! She's switching to this product. Highly recommended for anyone that has difficulty with the traditional tools.

I've tried every product out in the marketplace and these are the greatest product out there. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Must have producer women. Poseidon sponge are natural antibacterial tampons with strings with no cancer causing chemical and no worries on getting tampon toxins shock syndrome. It is highly absorbing so even if your flow is heavy this is a god sent product.Thank you Poseidon sponge.. you have made my life so much easier and I recommend this product to every woman or girl out there

Came much sooner than expected! Love the natural alternative to tampons. They work great, no leaks, easy to clean! I soak mine in 3/4 cups warm water an 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide for a couple of hours at the end of each night, then rinse them and let them air dry all night. Best thing I’ve used so far.
