Dallas Manufacturing Co. Berber Pet Throw

I really should have gotten out my tape measure first and measured the dog throws that I bought at Costco a few years ago (that Costco doesn't seem to want to stock anymore...). I assumed this one was close to the same size---it wasn't. Costco's measure 50X60", a much better size for medium-large dogs. This one doesn't drape over the back of the couch at all; it's better suited for floor only.And the polyester backing is very "slick". I would prefer cotton, or at least a more "cottony" type of polyester.However, I will keep this; I'm sure the dogs won't know the difference...

This is nice enough for maybe laying across a dog bed or in a crate but for a bed throw, forget about it. The material is so slick, it just slides around and then off the bed. I don't know why folks that make these don't consider such an obvious issue. I cannot find these with the padding in between the top and bottom with a non slip bottom. Gave 3 stars because they are well made.

A heavier throw it will sort of stay in place on the couch, but still is to small for my purpose. Would work better as a floor throw.

When I ordered this I thought it would be a bit more substantial. It works ok but since it is so light, it moves around quite a bit.

I like that this is easily washable, and I think it's warm and cozy for my dog, but I do wish it was a little cushier.

I wish it were a bit more sturdy. It's fine.

I use two of these for an oversized chair cushion and the ottoman. They look great and are helping with the dog hair issue.

purchased this pet throw because I wanted a thick throw for my older dog. it was spec'd at 1 1/2 inches - it's lucky to be 1/2 inch. I would return this item but it was shipped without a packing slip, sales slip or invoice.
