Couldn't walk without it
I've been in this boot for 4 1/2 months. The first boot I got from the doctors office. It was fit too big and was way more expensive, but it did it's job. Now that I'm up and starting to walk again, I opted for a new one, same product, but the correct size and way cheaper on Amazon! Now that I have the correct fit, I have nothing but good things to say about it.What size to order? I have large calves, but I'm telling you, don't let that influence the size you pick. Go strictly by the shoe size. I wear 10 1/2 womens, and the medium low profile is right on the edge of the scale for fitting perfectly. If you think you need to go up a size for leg circumference - don't. That's what the doctor's office did, and my foot disappeared inside the boot, and I couldn't get a tight enough closure.Yes, this is heavy but all boots are. I know from work experience that this is one of the lightest out there. The sole thickness is perfect to match my SAS Free Spirit work shoe. The curve of the sole creates a rocking motion that other boots don't have. It makes it much easier to walk. Two things to watch for when wearing it: there are places that might rub on your foot depending on your anatomy. For me, it's where the middle strap crosses on top of the foot. They give you little black spongy pads with the boot. Save them and use them for padding if needed. Don't throw them out! That's why they give them to you. Also, for some reason the air pump sometimes pumps up on its own. Must be from fiction or something. If it feels like the boot is getting tight, release the extra pressure. I just leave the valve open because I don't need the extra inflation. The lining and straps come all the way out so you can wash it. If you do that, be sure the heel part is all the way up against the back of the boot when you reassemble it or your ankle bones may not be in the right place against the supports. Ouch.It does make noise when you walk. This one definitely has a Velcro crunching noise to it, but I can live with it. I couldn't walk without it. Finally, if you have pets, this is a fur MAGNET! I just keep a roll of transparent tape handy to lift off the hairs and it's like new again.

Itโs ok
Hurt my foot a little but kept it stable. Iโm short so it makes me a little uneven ,so I canโt put it on in the house

Much easier to walk in
This boot is so much better than the typical ortho boot that I had. The rocker base makes it so much easier to walk normal. The bottom is rubber so it it much quieter than the plastic kind. The lower profile also helps keep the rest of your body more in line. I highly recommend this boot

It's comfortable but noisey
The boot was supportive and comfortable to walk in but the material made a squishing sound with every step.

more narrow and extremely more comfortable than the one I recieved from the urgent care
I was hoping that this particular boot would be lower to the ground ie low profile as advertised. However, it is a bit lighter, more narrow and extremely more comfortable than the one I recieved from the urgent care.

BETTER THAN THE 400.00 BOOT THE DR GAVE ME
Better than the 400.00 dollar boot the Dr gave me, this one was not flat on the bottom, was less painful to wear, lighterweight and shorter not as hard to drag around

low profile boot
I purchased this after struggling with the boot the doctor's office prescribed that was a higher profile than my athletic shoes. I will use it when I have surgery on the other foot. It is as described, lighter and lower profile (approximately 1 1/4 inches), the same height as my athletic shoes.
