I absolutely loved this book!!! I literally just read an Academy book right before this one where the female lead was a dark and twisted witch and then I flipped to this where the female lead is so sheltered and innocent... that wasn’t really necessary for this review but made me chuckle nonetheless. 🤷🏻‍♀️I loved Eve! Her ignorance of modern terminology and technology was extremely enjoyable to read and laugh out loud funny at times. Her determination is admirable. She is rolling with the punches fairly well considering all the life changing information that is being dumped on her daily.The whole storyline with the 7 souls and the academy is super creative and intriguing. I always enjoy a good book where there is a mashup hodgepodge of different paranormal creatures working together. I am really curious about this 8th soul that Eve claims she has but doesn’t go into detail about. Normally I can make a pretty good educated guess but not with this. I honestly have no idea what the 8th soul could possible be.The bullying in this is not overly done to that point that it completely overshadows the entire plot. There are a few people that she doesn’t get along with but she only has had a run in with them once, except for Dre who doesn’t seem to know how to act like a decent person in her presence.I love the men she has been introduced to in this book, and I hope she gets all of them!!! I’m greedy so I hope she is too. Even though Samuel and Dre are jerks, I hope they change their tune and turn things around with Eve. And that ending!!!! OOOOOHHH the plot thickens!!!Fantastic series opener that was super detailed and creative. This wasn’t a book I would classify as a quick read. It is fairly long but it enraptured me from the beginning so I tore through it. Best part, Serena released the entire series at once so I don’t have to wait!!! You’re the best!!!

Seven Wishes is everything you'd want an academy story to be. Fabulous heroine, great guys, powerful creatures, and a mysterious school that is the answer to every desire with untold dangers lurking.Eve is an innocent. Raised in an unforgiving environment that has kept her ignorant of the world and ignorant of who she is, what she is. But despite being an innocent, Eve is also a survivor and has a hidden core of steel in her. As she learns her way around this new school she's been taken to, she makes friends, forms bonds, and learns at a breakneck speed. There's no mistaking her intelligence, her instincts, and her desire to know about this new world she's thrust into. I love Eve. She's exactly the kind of heroine I adore.The guys are terrific. From Stefan's initial kindness, to Eren and Nestor's acceptance and care, Reed and Frazer's begruding friendliness. Even Samuel being mean and Dre being a dick doesn't take away from them being great guys. It will take them all time to find their footing and come together as long standing rivalries get in the way.This story is epic and one of the best from Ms Akeroyd that I've read. I could not put it down and devoured it in one sitting. I love everything about it.

You can never go wrong with this author’s books but Seven Wishes is beyond perfection. In a genre that has become saturated and slightly redundant, we get a fresh story from several unique perspectives. Eve was raised in a cult, so going on this adventure with her is like looking at our world (and the paranormal world) with fresh eyes. We also get some fond laughs in the process. One of my favorite parts of this are the POVs. The story is mostly told from the guys’ perspective which means we get to learn about Eve and her unique understanding of the world from their observations and experiences. Rush doesn’t mean we don’t get Eve’s perspective either, because we do, but we get to learn about her through the curious thoughts of the other characters. I am absolutely in love with this series. It is fresh, entertaining, unique, and everything I could ask for!!!

I feel like I can never go wrong when I read one of Serena's books. I really got hooked on this one. Not only is it sexy, I am really interested in Eve and her eight souls. I'm dying to know more about that eighth soul. I'm also dying to see how Eve will bring these stubborn guys together since Dre is so set on hating her and the one time Samuel spoke to her, he was mean and ended up with his butt whooped. I'm looking forward to seeing Eve integrate more into the world. I also want to see Eve put those catty girls in their place.

I loved watching Eve evolve from the cult to the Academy. The boy's were amazing with how patient they were throughout the story due to her innocence and not knowing everything. The fact that she is book smart, but not socially smart but awkward. This made her an easy target for being bullied.Excellent read with two huge surprises in the book one in the beginning and one at the end.I can't wait to start reading the next book!

The was amazing! I love Eve and all the guys (except Dre because he's a butthead). Excuse me while I go dive into the next one. I'm so glad it's out already!

Unique , ever changing , landscape offers Eve a new perspective on a life she lived experiences of an additional option but this too has to be escaped with a need to live she must give a little to get to a place to plan of course many things pose a problem as she develops skills and find family / pack of her own can't wait for the next book

I loved the idea behind the author's book. I was a bit confused in the beginning and there are some spelling errors that need to be fixed but this is a great book. I'm excited to see where this story is going. I'll be buying the next book after I post my review

This is a world like none I have read before. I'm really enjoying the story so far although it is left on a small scale cliffhanger. So be ready to wamt to dive straight into the next one.I love the guys in this. Each with their own problems and their own personality and troubled pasts.This slow burn RH PNR is set in an academy (with adult content happening at legal ages) and is plot heavy with the romance adding depth to the story.We'll worth a read! Can't wait for the next one! Well done Serena Akeroyd, you've done it again.

I absolutely loved this. I’m not usually into bully romances but this wasn’t bad at all. There are a few instances of verbal bulling against Eve but nothing extreme at all. The paranormal aspect was unique despite it being an academy romance as well. Overall a great start to a new series.

I devoured the whole series in a couple of days recently! I adored the start of the this universe <3 Eve is a unique character at the beginning with no knowledge of modern technology or language. I liked the different point of views from each of the boys and their reactions to poor Eve trying to adapt in her new world! I would recommend this series to anyone, it's so good!

A slightly different take on a paranormal school romance. It's a slow boiler but well worth sticking with. I look forward to the next step in the adventures of eve and her love interests and of course her eighth soul

Enjoyed the read of this book and the storyline has potential. Looking forward to the next book to see what will happen.
