It's phenomenal
I absolutely am thrilled with this purchase! It surpassed all my expectations. I love the color and design! It has a light and it locks. Very sturdy but not too heavy. It only took like 2 minutes to put together. I live in a 5th wheel so it actually created more floor space also. I will absolutely recommend this to everyone. It holds all my jewelry and room for more.

I liked that I could reconfigure this.
For reasons I don’t understand, these wall- mounted armoires suffer from two major design flaws: (1) the hinge is always on the left and (2) for some reason, a bunch of it is configured to hold makeup. I don’t get the makeup storage thing at all. There tend to be other flaws as well, among them: too many ring slots, designs to hold post earrings that do not work, not enough places for necklaces, and nowhere to store brooches. For this one, it occurred to me that the metal “love” frame could probably be moved, and that nearly everything else probably could be moved or discarded, too, so I could do what I wanted with it.And, lo…I thought about reversing the door, but there are some issues with the lock and latch if you do that, so I flipped it over instead. I flipped everything else as well. The special offset things for post earrings don’t work well (I tried them, and, I mean, if you really want to lose the backs, go ahead?), but they’re OK (still not great) for stick pins. They’re at the bottom of the cabinet now. I kind of dislike the burlap, but realized the burlap covered ring holder might be great for stabbing brooches into. It is. They’re also at the bottom of the cabinet. I bought a black velvet covered ring holder to put at the new top of the cabinet to store post earrings (wasted space for makeup #1 fixed), then a couple of small continuous channel ring holders (black velvet) which I glued into another makeup area (second wasted space fixed). I bought some small watch/bracelet pillows and shoved my watches into the remaining makeup slots. This still isn’t what I’d do if I were designing from scratch, but it holds my jewelry well enough for now. I can’t use the light well in this configuration, but I honestly don’t want to have to take this down and change the battery anyway (you need to do it from the back), so I don’t care. I’m not entirely pleased with the mounting hardware; I think I’ll need to make some changes to better secure the bottom to the wall. But, as it stands, it’s holding all of my jewelry.Notes about the inserts in this thing: the special offset hanger for post earrings doesn’t work well for post earrings (if you do not drop the backs putting them on the holder, you will surely do so when you take them off, and they won’t stay in place without backs). I tried earrings with french wires on the offset hanger, too. They did not work well (too much sliding). Verdict: largely useless. If I weren’t using it for stick pins, I’d throw it out. I may do that eventually anyway in favor of more necklace hooks. The “love” frame has two rows of holes for earrings with french wires. They’re Ok but not great; I prefer slots (much easier to get earrings in and out— note it’s also hard to see the holes consistently against the dark wood). Also, I have all of these holes full, which isn’t ideal. I do like the giant hooks for big necklaces on the “love” frame; they work well. Not enamored of the rails on it for hoops, but they do keep the necklaces reined in. I still need more necklace hooks than those provided. (I do double and sometimes triple up, but I always want more hooks.). If, like me, you use ring holders for post earrings, it’s almost impossible to see small gold earrings against pale burlap; they are much more visible against black velvet. My brooches are much more brightly colored and are easy to see against the burlap.Overall, I like the armoires with black velvet inside better, and I think slots work much better for french wires. If armoires were available with an option of left hinge or right hinge, I probably wouldn’t have chosen this one specifically. As it stands, though, it works. I can always buy some strips with slots designed for earring storage and do more reconfiguration later.

Really nice!
I love this! It is very sturdy, appealing to the eyes, and has tons of "storage". I like that all of my jewelry is out of sight so there's not that clutter look and this functions as a mirror too. I have actually had this for a couple years now and it is good as new. Definitely worth buying!

Good quality; Good value
I was favorably impressed with the quality of this jewelry box. The sides and door frame are 9/16-inch solid wood. The back is 3/8-inch plywood. Everything is square and solid. I took off the hanger hardware on the back and attached it directly to the wall with screws. Because it is only 14 1/4-inches wide it wasn’t possible to bridge two studs on 16-inch centers so I screwed the right side, where one pulls the door to open it, to a stud and used drywall anchors to screw the left side to the wall. I didn’t find the magnetic latch to be so strong an to pose a problem opening the door, as some reviewers did. I don’t think it would be a problem even if it were hung on the attached hardware rather than being screwed directly. When we first looked at it on Amazon my wife said she didn’t care that it had an interior light and thought this was a needless feature. After using it once it was hung on the wall, however, she liked it was glad to have the light. The only criticism I have is that the battery compartment is only accessible from the back. I don’t know why such an otherwise nice quality piece has such a poorly designed feature when it would have been so easy to reverse the battery compartment and make it accessible from inside. Given the work it took to get this thing exactly positioned and plumb and screwed to the wall, in part with blind anchors, a job that took about three hours, I doubt that I will be taking it down to replace batteries when they die. It also didn’t come with an over-the-door hanging bracket that the instruction sheet said was enclosed. Since I wasn’t hanging it from a door it didn’t matter to me but it might to someone else. The bottom line is: It’s nice quality and, except for the battery issue, well designed. My wife is happy. She says it has a lot of space and she is amazed at how much she can fit in there with a lot of space left over.

In love!
Wanted one for almost a decade. This one is SO PERFECT 😍 did have to end up using super glue from hardware store to stabilize the hangers & its magnetic closure is very strong sometimes requiring 2 hands to open but otherwise awesome. Beautifully made & kind of smells of cedar.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. She loves it. It has a ton of room for storing jewelry. It looks nice.

Item came broken
The door frame around the mirror was split off where screws of the hinge go into the door. Opening the door causes it to split farther down. It is fixable if your handy but the quality control is not good on this item
