Worth it!
I chew up 2 halves and then I go to town on a grapefruit. It's orgasmic. All the sugar in the world could not make a grapefruit tastier. My family and I also tried lemons and limes, which were righteous. My husband and I couldn't drink enough tarragon vinegar, either. Strangely delicious after a miracle berry. It just occured to me that these lovely little berries could make apple cider vinegar and kombucha much more enjoyable.....Just the other day I first tried oranges after the berry. I want citrus no other way ever again. My husband and I are type 2 diabetic and these berries eliminate sooo many carbs from our diet.

Lives up to the hype
I had been wanting to try 'miracle berries' for some time, and finally got around to it, choosing this particular vendor on the basis of price and ratings.I deliberately pitched my expectations down a little, because it's my experience that hype is hype and reality rarely lives up to it.The berries themselves are freeze-dried and well packaged in little resealable pouches. On the TV panel show QI, Sue Perkins described the taste as a 'dead breath freshener', but it's really more like dried fruit, something inoffensive from the apple or pear family. It hasn't much flavor to itself, but as it spreads to coat your tongue, flavor slowly develops. Think apple, but berry-like, if that makes any sense.I now kind of wish I hadn't pitched my expectations low, because I am completely blown away. Straight lime juice is unbelievably delicious. A martini tastes like a gin and tonic, absent the carbonation of the tonic. I find myself regretting I haven't any lemons around, because I bet those would be delicious too. I'm about to try straight vinegar -- acids seem to be most affected, so I need to make sure I don't chug an entire bottle of balsamic....Definitely put this on your 'buy' list for a treat.

Really works!
These are so cool. Me and a friend of mine tried these with lemon and lime wedges, and they tasted really sweet. Then we tried grapefruit and it was incredibly sweet, like candy.I read that another company was trying to use these as sort of a weight loss supplement by using it to remove bitterness from coffee and make it taste sweet without sugar. I tried this, but it really didn't change the taste of black coffee much at all.

MUST TRY!!
These really work! I like that they are the actual berries just freeze dried and not just a tablet because I never really know what's in some tablets. I think it's so magical that it really changes the taste of bitter foods and makes food that's naturally sweet taste SUPER sweet. I'm definitely happy with this purchase and I've already recommended these to my friends and family.

Better than the tablets
The tablets take longer to dissolve and coat your tongue, and they generally cost a little more. The only advantage they have over the berries is that they're easier to hold in your mouth until they fully coat it (I naturally wanted to swallow the berries immediately, while I had no such desire with the tablets), but the berries coat your mouth pretty quickly, so it's not a very big advantage. They keep about the same amount of time, too. Really the only reason to get the tablets is that they tend to ship a little faster.

Most berries work
Gotta admit, I didn't anticipate this working so well. I thought that the sweet taste would be light and not noticable but it actually turned a lemon sweet. A thing to consider about this brand berries is that it's a freeze dried berry, it's dry and flakey and it will dissolve in your mouth like a tablet would(still would have to chew a bit). I do not recomment putting the berry in your mouth with the seed, the seed shattered apart in my mouth and had to take out the bits piece by piece. Not all berries are the same, some are dryier than the other and some are smaller than the others. Ones that are big and still has juice in them make the experience better because they allow my whole tongue to be covered. Small and dry berries either have no effect on me, or they do not cover my tongue completely

Turns sour things sweet?
I'd read about these berries years ago, how they make sour things taste sweet. Bought two boxes to experiment at work and with family. It was fun chewing the dried berries, then tasting different sour things like limes, lemons and sour candy. The effects last quite some time, gradually fading. Quite a bit of fun!

Make sure you know what foods to eat.
Not all foods get modified with these, only foods that change your pH. Make sure you know this before orderingGreat customer service tho.
