I bought this unit because I needed it for only one trip. I should have known I was going to have problems when I took it on a trial run in my home town. I put a location 35 miles from my home and intentionally took another route. The unit won't "recalculate" to the route you're currently on. It just keeps trying to redirect you back to the original starting point. 35 miles later, it was still trying to get me to go back to the original starting point! But in spite of this I still took it on my trip. As soon as I left the airport, I clicked on a "favorite" location I had saved, which I knew was south of Seattle. It wanted me to go to Canada!!! Obviously not where I wanted to go. It refused to recognize the favorite location I had entered. I backed out of my original attempt and tried again. This time the until gave me direction to Seattle from my home location, in spite of me trying to get it to use the same "favorite" location I originally used. Needless to say the unit is now resting in a recycle trash bin. Save yourself the aggravation and spend the extra money on a Tom Tom, Garmin or another known name. This one is not worth the money!

Received 7/16/19. Works great as a GPS. I am a Hazmat Tanker driver and this can be customized to any vehicle height, weight, and cargo restrictions. I used it for 2 weeks so far as a GPS, using the cross streets feature. Works great. Will update this review as I find time to learn how to use other features. The instructions are not easy to follow due to lack of detail. But if you remain patient, you can fumble through it to figure out how to work it. UPDATE. 1/10/20. It freezes up a lot on the boot up screen when power is applied. I have no clue how to update it. The update website looks outdated and non functional. Get yourself a real GPS if you want a good one. This one had potential because of all the features. But the company dropped the ball on keeping it up to date and fixing bugs.

This GPS didn't do what I wanted. It would tell you to make a left in a quarter of a mile, but never gives the name of the street. You had to be looking at the screen to anticipate what direction would be coming up next. I used it once and decided to return it. I want a GPS that says e.g. In 2000 feet, turn left on Martin St. Continue on Martin St. for 2 miles etc. I guess I need to buy a more advanced/sophisticated model.

I bought this GPS because I was needing one before my trip. Once receiving it my hubby and I both were very disappointed. Low budget GPS is all I can say. I guess the term "you get what you pay for" is real. lol.. I sent it back and purchased a Garmin. Very happy now and I am confident in knowing I won't get lost on my trip. It was worth the extra $60

Great product, worked great, easy to use and affordable.I travel often so I got this devise to help me navigate in unfamiliar cities. It reduces the burden of having to use my phone so much while driving. I’m interrupted navigation while driving is a safety measure in today’s society, I’d recommend this device for others such as I. The dash holder is another good feature which comes with this device.Tim

I bought it by the reviews. I must have got a different one. Nothing is same on the unit as it is in the manual. I can't even set the time. Going back useless!!!

This GPS unit works great. It was greatly appreciated on my trip. Especially the ability to program the destinations into the unit ahead of time was helpful. The alerts when caution was needed was appreciated.
