It's a Weishi 9306c
Even comes in a box labeled as such (nice little travel case for it BTW). After using it about 6 weeks I have to say it is just easy and a pleasure to use this razor. It is a very mild razor, with no fuss the blade aligns strait every time. I have used several types of blades in this razor and the only one that was horrible was the one that it comes with. Throw that one in the trash. Put in any reputable brand of DE and you'll love it. If you like an aggressive razor, this isn't for you. If you are like me and like one that is forgiving and easy, especially early in the morning look no further.

Poor shaving experience
I don't know if it's the design of the razor or the blades that came with it but each of the four times I used it were among the poorest shaving performances in both experience and results. Each time I prepped my face with very warm properly lathered Colonel Conk's Bay Rum Shaving Soap (I highly recommend) and proceeded to shave. I tried using different angles, different tension adjustments, and different blades from the package provided with the razor. Each time I endured a pulling sensation as the razor tried to shave and ended up with a poorly half shaved face. Following a re-lather and application of my month old GT2 (famous brand 2 blade cartridge) I experienced my usual pull free shave nicely enhanced by the Colonel Cronk soap and a smooth burr patch free face. For reference I have been shaving for at least 42 years. My facial hair is a little less dense than average but the hair is coarse.I gave the second star only because the device appears to be of good quality. The heft was greater than expected but in this case it is a positive. All parts functioned well but I don’t think it was designed to provide a variable blade tension as when I tried to back off a little the adjustment loosened further as it was used. The finish was considerably lighter in color than the picture online.I returned the razor for Amazon credit and will happily return to my GT2 and Colonel Conk shaving soap.

Good TTO razor
As noted in reviews of the 930 razor, this is actually a Weishi razor, made in China. I've had it for a couple of weeks now, and like it very much, but wish it had a longer handle. It arrived as pictured except for the color (which is a matte silver--not at all like the photo) and with 5 Dorco blades. The mechanism is solid when closed, operates smoothly, and aligns the blade well with the head better than my Merkur, which always needs slight tweaking to get the blade exposure even. The shave itself is fairly mild, not a bad thing at all, and with a pass or two more than the Merkur, shaves just as well. The only real downside I see is the handle, which at 3" is on the short side. If it were a little longer, I would have given it the fifth star, but would still recommend it, especially as it is pretty much the same price as most of Amazon's other Weishi razors when Prime shipping is factored in.

It's alright. I still use it though
This razor is decent. I can't set it on the lowest setting and still get a good shave. It is worth the money though. Very sturdy razor.

Colonel Conk No. 931
Great razor at a great price.Incredibly heavy for it's size, well built, and very sturdy. Will last for years if not generations.Nickel finish is very nice, although a little lighter in color than what the Amazon picture shows, but still very attractive. More attractive/unique then the normal chrome razor (IMHO).I get a great shave from this razor and easily recommend it 100%. You also get five Dorco razors with the No. 931Treat yourself to a new razor, specifically the CC No.931

arrived damaged and not sold by Amazon
minus one star for a faulty razor (OK i give this one back, as one of 'wings' of this butterfly blade was stuck out of the box)minus one star for Amazon's deception in seller (*not* from Amazon, despite the product listing)minus one star for sending an apparently returned itemminus one star for sending a razor with a pack of blades with the top blade JAMMED in crooked back into the packageupdate: after 'fixing' this 'butterfly' razor (it was not packaged in a sterile wrap, simply dropped in a box), i found that the razor works OK; i first used BIC (made in Greece) blades, then made in the USA Personna... the razor works OK, so i'm mollifiedhowever, you will find the same razor, which is CHICOM-made, in a polished chrome version from your local Ark-based box-mart for less than a Hamilton - in much better shape, better wrapped, with sterile packaging and five German blades...

mild razor, lighter color than shown
This is actually a Weishi 9306-C, a very solid twist-to-open razor with a mild blade exposure. What Col. Conk calls "charcoal" is nowhere near as black as the picture shows; some other sellers call this "gunmetal". It's a grayish color, not as shiny as the chrome or nickel finish most razors have. The razor looks quite elegant, and if you shave every day the mild exposure will be just what you need. If you like to let several days' stubble accumulate you will find that a more aggressive razor is a better choice. This razor will force you to learn good technique, because with the wrong angle it simply won't cut hair. A great learning tool, and a good longterm razor if you shave every day.
