Pastel by Vivienne Women's Handkerchief Dress with Pockets

This dress is perfect if you really want comfortability paired with style. Iv'e had trouble trying to get the right size with dresses similar to this from other companies, so this time I ordered just one to make sure it was right this time. I will get down to it and tell you how it fit on me, because knowing that the model is 5'7" and wearing a small doesn't help me.So I am 5'2" and 150 pounds. I'm a little larger in the chest and normally wear a size large shirt and a size 10 skirt.For this dress I bought a size medium. It fit beautifully, a tiny bit on the loose side which is the way I like it, and it came down to between my middle calf and ankle. Nice flare and pockets. I believe I could have even gotten a small and still been happy. If I had, I believe it would have been a little more fitted which is ok too. I might just order a small for next time as I am on a serious quest now to drop 25 pounds. The material was soft and stretch cottony like jersey material. So hope that is helpful for trying to determine a size for you! :-)

I absolutely love this dress. I ordered three different solid colors which I can dress up or down with a scarf or lacy sweater. You can easily pair with boots, heels, sandals or leggings. Tennis shoes would be a stretch, but the dress would still maintain a high degree of elegance. I am thankful that I have found a dress that looks and feels great, hides what has been rearranged by gravity, and makes me feel beautiful.

You can be careful and do your research but you never really know what you'll find when you open the package containing your new dress from Amazon. This dress met all expectations and then some. I'm 5 foot 3 and normally take a 14-16. The fit is just as I hoped it would be, the color is spot on (perhaps just a tad bit pinker than the photo), the material is soft and light and drapes nicely, it fits in the bust and the length is just as shown. The lines are simple with just a bit of variation at the hem. I'll probably get it in another color for the summer.

I bought the small burgundy dress for my teen daughter. There wasn't an xs. She's 5'1 and 90-100 lbs. Its very loose and quite long so I took it in about 3" on both sides and it's much better but pockets are still too low, her fingers go in but that's all, but she likes it, and hopefully it'll draw up after a few washes. This is a great modest dress, not see through or low or too shorr. I just wish there was an xs, that would've been perfect, oh well

I looooooved this dress and wore it a few times before washing it. I washed it in cold on a gentle cycle, pulled it out and it was SO faded! Literally so sad! I don’t ever wash anything in warm or hot water to begin with so washing this dress in cold was nothing new, but I was not expecting it to fade so much it looked like a dark brown. So frustrated.

I love this dress! The fit was great. The only thing I did not like was that the side slits went above my knee.

LIKED THE WAY THE DRESS HANGS ON THE BODY...WITH JUST THE RIGHT FLOW TO MAKE MOVEMENT EASY..RECEIVE COMMENTS FROM THE FIRST TIME WEARING IT AND THE PRICE IS AWESOME..THE ROYAL BLUE COLOR IS BEAUTIFUL.

I absolutely love this dress ! I am 4'11"130 lbs . I ordered a large and it is perfect.Being short, alot of times long dresses drag the ground but this one being mid calf is just right . I love the soft flowy material couldn't be happier
