Seek Thermal Compact Pro High Resoltuion Thermal Imaging Camera for Android USB-C Phones, Fast Frame

I bought this for work and it is a very useful device. So far my observations are that it gives a good picture with clear enough definition (I am imaging things roughly 50mm square, and need 1mm or so resolution), does not excessively drain the battery of the iPhone, has software which basically does everything for you, and is so portable that you can easily put it into your pocket. The emissivity offered is at 3 or 4 levels, and there is no scope to input your own number. However, future software upgrades may be able to improve on this. Overall, a great device which I enjoy using and gives me valuable information.

All I can say is wow this thing is awesome this is the compact pro ff version went outside at night I could see everything its not pin sharp but the sensitivity is amazing I can highly recommend this product its exspensive but for a thermal imager its cheap but high quality 👍

I've is of a Yankee Candle and the other is a oil radiator with some damp cloths in top drying off.Extremely light weight and compact camera.Comes with a nice hard plastic caseIf you have a cover on your device then this may not attach to it as the USB connection does not extend like the Flir One Pro does. It highly recommend you get a extension cable.The most annoying this i find and something the product manufacturer fails to state is that there is a constant clicking sound from the camera and every time it clicks the images freezes.There are afew YouTube videos about this and it appears to be a shutter that keeps moving thats making the noise.

I had to buy a small extension connector to allow me to use this while my iPhone was in it's case but this is my cases fault and not an issue with the camera.Since purchasing it I have used it for some electronics work, balancing my central heating and spotting cold spots in the house.It is so sensitive that I could see the cold joists in the loft through the ceiling below. Adding another layer of insulation in the loft sorted that out :-)

We moved into a house two years ago, and had a few issues finding heating pipes, and the Seek Compact camera has been invaluable. I looked at several different models, but as a homeowner, as opposed to a professional, I felt the Seek Compact was the best balance of features and price for me. Some of the rival brands don’t have such good resolution, are more expensive, and have their own built-in batteries, which means that for an occasional user it could be frustrating finding the thing isn’t charged up before you use it. The Seek has really helped – for example it’s allowed me to find a heating conduit in the floor where I was able to run some wires for a surround system, it has helped me find how the pipework runs under the concrete floors, and it’s also helped me find issues with the roof insulation. It was definitely worth the money!
