Freeze +P Pepper Spray (NF) - 2 oz Stream (Flip Top).

This is a recurring re-order, if you are lucky the expiration date is reached without having to use. This particular cannister is leaking ever so slightly - and wow, you know it. Contacted vendor, they have just perfect customer service. Most pleased. I will continue with this product and this specific vendor!

although i have never used the spray, I know it is quality.

A friend of mine initially bought these for me and my daughter. He spoke do highly of them, I ordered more for my daughter’s college roommates. Thankfully none of us had to use it yet. The only negative. I wish it came with a case or cover to add to key ring.

First, I have used this product. I have been sprayed with it in a training environment. I have deployed it on folks during encounters that thought it would be a good idea to get violent with a LEO. I found it to be the most effective chemical agent that I had been exposed to. The added effect of the CS (tear gas) along with the OC pepper had a synergistic effect on even violent and intoxicated individuals. Check with the manufacturer about expiration dates. The product is stable, but over a period of time the compression in the can may leak slightly, rendering it less useful. Any can that is pressurized and heated can explode and/or leak. Not a good idea to store it in a car that will get hot. Overall, great product when used properly, safely, lawfully and only when necessary for self-defense purposes.

I bought this after having to deal with a road rage incident. A guy came running up to my car. Intentionally damaging my vehicle and threatening me. I didn't have any weapons in the vehicle; because I train some boxing and extensively in BJJ. Normally I would have just got out of the car and put a beating on the guy. He was smaller than me and it would have been easy. But my son was in the car and already scared. So I didn't want to get into a fight in front of him.After that I bought spray +P to keep in my vehicle. I'm glad I did. I started working as an Uber driver and have to deal with drunks regularly. I had an occasion to use it while picking some patrons up in front of a bar. I picked up the passengers and a large 300+ pound college kid was walking in the middle of the street in front of all of the cars in the parking lot. He was extremely aggressive yelling at cars and challenging the drivers to fight. His girlfriend kept pulling him back.Of course my drunk male passengers thought it was a good idea to give him the finger and yell at him. He came sprinting over to my window screaming. I was pinned in by traffic at the point and couldn't drive forward or reverse. I'm glad I didn't have to get out of the car and fight someone was a foot taller and had 80 pounds of lean body weight on me. While worrying if one of his friends would sucker punch me or kick me in the head if I wrestled with the guy on the ground.Instead I simply pepper sprayed the guy for slightly under 1 second before his girlfriend decided to become his human body shield. Putting herself between him and car window. I also pepper sprayed his girlfriend for approximately 3 seconds. Despite not being able to get a solid shot in the guys face the OC/CS seemed to have a decent effect backing him up. All he could do is weakly kick in my cars direction. I then looked forward and saw that the car in front of me had left; so I dove off leaving them to deal with the Satanic facial I had squirted in both of their eyes.The downside of this spray is that it's $20 and only had a shelf life of 9 months or so by the time it shipped to me. Which is pretty disappointing. That's why I took a star off. Also I don't know if this company is in business any longer. I couldn't find them on the internet. Since my can of Spray +P has expired I've moved on the Saber brand of pepper gels. They seem to be an industry leader, their sprays are more inexpensive ($13 for a similar size can), have a shelf life of 3 years. Meaning that with Saber I only have to pay $4.33 per year for a similar level of protection. If I use my Saber brand of pepper gel on someone I'll update my review.Also since everyone is asking about it I've stored both my Spray +P cans and Saber cans in my car during the summer in Northern Florida and never had a problem. If you're worried about the can bursting in your car put it in a ziplock bag to be safe. But it hasn't been an issue for me.

I've been in the profession of arms for 18 years, between the military, law enforcement, and as a private security contractor. I've been through countless exposures to less-lethal chemical agents through training and the inevitable cross-contamination that occurs when deploying them. Pepper spray alone, or tear gas alone have a limited effect on me at this point. But Freeze +P is special. It's a highly effective combination of both CS (tear gas/Mace) and OC (Oleoresin Capsicum/Pepper Spray). Getting hit with this is like being pepper-sprayed while in the gas chamber with no mask.I first used this when it was issued to me as a deputy sheriff in a major metro area 14 years ago, and except for the mandated issued spray I carried in the military, this is all I carry and use on the job. It is by far the most painful and effective less-lethal spray on the market and all I will issue to my Security Team now. Bonus is that it's also non-flammable and approved for use with electric less-lethal tools (Tasers, Stun-guns, etc.)Ships quickly from NW Self Defense and they provide excellent customer service, too.

This stuff is great! I've carried it for years, been sprayed in the face with it, used it on people... Its one of the most effective chemical defense agents money can buy. Having experienced the effects first hand, And having been sprayed with numerous other brands and types of agents, CS, CN, OC, you name it. This one was the worst.. in a good way. I guarantee this will stop someone dead in their tracks. Blind, face on fire, flinging snot everywhere, crying, but not dead. Its a great non lethal option to have handy. Whoever you hit with Freeze +p, its game over.. they're done. I trust this over all others.
