Kaffe Maestro Universal Fit 34-ounce 1000 Ml/8cup French Coffee Press Beaker, Fits All Brands, Borosilicate Glass

Good price, with durable solid glass. I was happy to be able to replace that easy-to-break beaker without spending so much money. However, just like other reviewers said, it is very hard to pour the coffee out without spilling it out on the counter...which is a pretty basic flaw. I'm trying to perfect my pouring technique but it is really hard.

It works with my Bodum press. The lip of the glass is not exactly the same, so the handle of my bodum press does not fit flawlessly/ perfectly, but it is a petty concern and no one would be able to tell the difference unless they knew already. Thats why I gave it 4 stars. Well worth the $10 savings though, would buy again.

I would never give a basic product 5 stars. 4 Stars would be if it was a perfect replacement. It got 3 stars because it does not have the same spout thus it drips or spills when you pour. Sometimes you go spill free, but most of the time you have drippage.

It doesn't fit my Bodem 34 oz silver classic French press perfectly. You have to hold the top of the black plastic piece or it will drip everywhere but in your cup. It's annoying becasue if you forget then you have to clean up your entire counter. It fits cylindrically but the lip and pur device is not the same as Bodum.The company should make a universal replacement based on manufacturer and model.

Found this one on amazon, got good reviews, and when it came, it came packaged well in cardboard, and the glass was pleasantly slightly thicker and therefore makes it feel like it's a little more sturdy.

I have a Bodum Chambord 8 cup press- this replacement works with the plunger, but doesn't fit very well. It's both too small for the frame and the lid is loose (lots of play). The loose lid causes the coffee to dribble when you pour.Passable in a pinch, but unfortunately if you want a perfect fit you might have to shell out for the Bodum replacement.

I bought mine just before the bad reviews about spilling liquid. Mine works just fine and is the lowest cost replacement beaker I could find. I am happy with it.

First of all, the image they post is false. Yes, this will fit in your Bodum coffee press and it looks similar to this, but if you look at the second image they post here is a profile view of the spout. That image shows that the spout dips significantly, but that's not what the actual product looks like. It barely dips at all. It also shows that the spout is generally contoured the same as the original Bodum glass, but the actual spout is much wider which makes it less exact. The bottom line is, that is NOT a picture of what you're getting. Even if it's close (95% of it is just a round, glass beaker) it's clearly not the same image.Second, I'm stunned that I only saw one other review that mentioned it, but the spout pours everywhere. We've tried filling it less than to the same fill line we used with the original glass, but nothing works. When you pour coffee out of this thing, it runs down the side of the glass due to this aforementioned terrible design of the spout. This was a complete waste of money, and we're just getting a brand new press today.
