This small soldering pencil type iron is one of the best I have ever used. The kit is more than complete. Has all you need to do small projects. It has a small temperature control knob that works great. Long enough cord. Comes with adequate holding stand. Only one thing to pay attention to is there is no indication whether it is hot/on or cool/off, be careful. I have used it several times already and absolutely recommend it.

I've got a very nice solder station and Hakko hot air rework setup... but it's all in storage from when my job made me move. This little kit does a lot for just $20 (think I got it on Black Friday sale). Great value for a small portable kit and nice little case. Everything you need, and a nice container of solder paste.

the only complaint. the threading on the nut that holds the tip is a little off the nut is kinda bent sideways like the threading was done poorly, which can cause wear and tear over time switching from tip to tip.
