Yakka Helmet Tokyo-New-Jazz (M - Just Cover)

I bought a Dutchie bike and knew I'd need a helmet. But since it is a Dutch bike - think Pee Wee Herman's bike in black - I knew it couldn't be some slick racer lid. This Yakkay duo came up on my Google search of "helmets that aren't dorky."The Dutch bike lets you to sit upright to sightsee, and, with its fenders to keep you dry, allows you to wear absolutely any outfit and just take off riding. Now I don't have to get into some Olympic cyclist outfit to go ride. Any other helmet would have looked absurd with this type of bike. (Conversely, No road-racing cyclist in his right mind would don this helmet.) Not only is the helmet sturdy and the hat-cover adorable, it's very well-ventilated and the brim affords some glare protection from the sun. I find it very comfortable. And on a recent ride, neighbors asked me why I wasn't wearing a helmet!CAVEAT: Make sure you have a good cloth tape measure, and get the conversion chart out so you order the correct size. Now if it is too big, you can pad the helmet with included adhesive pads. But if it's too small, it's gotta go back for the next size up.Also, The hat covers don't just slip on and off - they are well-made and meant to stay put. I bought separately a solid fedora to change looks. There are lots of different changeable lids - check sizes though.Hope that helps.Toodleloo!
