works on vw but no help on 96 chevy
Worked on 98 VW passat getting codes an clearing them after replacing parts, but not on a 96 tahoe so dont believe works on chevys (I know its miss firing an has been for a while, an engine light comes on)also have to have a specific windows on computer for updating or to use there program cant remember At moment. Ill leave another review once i try it on my 2011 mitubishi lancer sportsback see if it clears or even registers routine maintance alert that comes on, an new ram promaster but its in shop for tranny issues at 10k miles so sure there will be a time soon to try it not to mention the promaster has dash lights for every issue possible even a light out so hopefully i will be able to tell you if it works on dodge in future.also soon as you unplug from car, scanner shuts off an cant get codes while disconnected so write codes down while its plugged in.

I tested it on a 2011 Honda and it worked just fine. Maybe Mercedes just wants to make sure you ...
Did not work on a 2008 Mercedes, which is why I bought it. It just said that it couldn't get any results, but the screen showed it was working and I could hear something click twice under the hood or dashboard. I tested it on a 2011 Honda and it worked just fine. Maybe Mercedes just wants to make sure you have to bring it to the dealer.
