Overall Conclusion:If you require protection against the sun and do not want to pay a lot of money for potentially limited use, go for this product. Quality is as expected and it does its job well due to the large and wide brim. I usually get sunburned in my neck, but not this time despite the unforgiving sun in the Australian Outback.Effectiveness:The hat has a very wide brim which protected my neck from getting burned in the hot sun of the Australian Outback. I have a long neck and usually get sunburned very quickly. Even though the hat comes with the additional neck and face flaps, I did not have to use them. The brim alone was sufficient to protect my neck.It was very windy in Australia and the adjustable chin band kept the hat fixed and stable - no flying away.Quality:The hat is lightweight. This makes it perfect for travelling light, however, gives it an average quality feel. That said I did not have any problems with it and it did its job perfectly. If you intend to wear this regularly, I would recommend buying a more solid (and expensive) product. If this is for travelling and short trips, I would highly recommend this. This is an OK hat but I bought it to use on a trip to Japan and found it not fit for purpose. Because this hat is 100% nylon in hot weather it just makes your head sweat. The back and front flaps are not only flimsy but also make it impossibly hot to wear. My "Tilley" hat, though a lot more expensive and lacking the neck protection was a much more practical option in the heat.

It was a fantastic hat if it fits your head to protect you from the sun. It is recommended hat if your head is smaller, as solar protection is very important with skin cancer around! It is great that is also protects your neck. I recommended always buying a hat like this with neck protection or a separate neck cover to stay safe from the sun.

Bought and used this hat for a 100K walk in Cotswold in the hight of summer. It worked great, especially the protectionfor the back of the neck and the side of the ears which mange to keep the heat off. Think this is a good product, I did not use the face mask thought it made me look like a bandit.

Hat is fine one size fits all adjustment is at the back face cover is a little loose with gaps at the side but apart from that a good all round sun blocker

Mein Kumpel hatte den Hut bei unserer Wanderung getestet und war sehr zufrieden. Er stinkt nicht, lässt sich gut waschen und sieht eigentlich ganz nett aus. Einziges Manko ist die Befestigung des Nackenschutzes über Plastikhaken. Hier bin ich mir bezüglich der Haltbarkeit noch unsicher und habe deshalb einen Punkt abgezogen. Da ist der andere von mir getestete Hut besser.

Il cappello protegge molto bene dal caldo del sole e copre tutta la testa ed il collo, evitando scottature.La traspirabilità è ottima. Non è stato ancora provato con la pioggia ma l'impressione è che sia ben impermeabilizzato.Spedizione puntuale.

Ce chapeau a rempli sa mission à plusieurs reprises !Je l'avais acheté parce que je devais travailler dehors en plein cagnard pendant plusieurs semaines. Et j'ai tendance à vite avoir des coups de soleil. Résultat, il protège vraiment bien. On s'y habitue rapidement car il est léger et pas désagréable à porter. J'utilise uniquement le voile de derrière pour protéger la nuque et le cou. Je ne vois pas trop l'utilité de celui de devant.Je l'ai depuis aussi utilisé quelques fois en rando.Je le recommande vraiment à tout ceux qui n'ont pas le choix de passer du temps dehors en plein soleil. Çà devrait même être obligatoire dans certaines professions avec le nombre de cancers de la peau qui augmentent !

Mein Mann trägt sie bei intensiver Sonneneinstrahlung ....sie ist aus leichtem Material und sehr strapazierfähig.ABER er fällt eindeutig auf, denn nur die Augen sind zu sehen!Im Sinn der Völkerverständigung ist das aber auch eine Chance für Gespräche und Diskussionen ;)

Ottimo cappello, lo uso per le escursioni in montagna ed in caso di sole intenso fa il suo dovere.

Reçu ce jour,les + : Le chapeau est léger et esthétique. Avec un tour de tête ajustable grâce à un cordon.Astucieux comme montage.Les - : les voiles à accrocher et scratcher au chapeau sont trop fins. Le jour passe à travers ce qui est très gênant et de ce fait, ne protège pas des UV qui les traversent.Aussi bien le voile sur les cotés et la nuque que le voile pour le visage qui s'est voulu respirant, je pense, mais encore plus inefficace pour une véritable protection UV.Le dessus du chapeau est fin également.Au final il n y a que la couronne du chapeau qui arrêtera les rayons du soleil et procurera de l 'ombre.Mais pour le dessus de la tête et le visage si vous avez de réelles intolérances aux UV, ne vous arrêtez pas sur ce modèle à moins de procéder à quelques rectifications en matière de couture pour renforcer le tissu en appliquant un tissu plus épais sur celui existant. ( ce que je vais faire )Ça reste néanmoins bien pensé et constitue une bonne base à modifier si vous cherchez un anti UV efficace.

j'ai acheté ce produit pour une personne qui a des problèmes de carcinome basocellulaire , qui a besoin d'une protection solaire maximum. Il en est très satisfait , cela lui protège aussi bien la nuque que le visage.

Utilisé essentiellement en meeting aérien l'été, lors des stations statiques pendant de longues heures au soleil lors des shootings photos ; avant je portais une simple casquette et je me retrouvais avec des coups de soleil terribles dans la nuque : ça c'était avant, grâce aux larges bords de ce chapeau de brousse en matière très légère et agréable au toucher, je suis mieux protégé. Très bon produit

Ce chapeau pourrait être pratique s'il n'était pas aussi encombrant. Le pourtour est trop épais et rigide, il n'est pas vraiment pliable. Je ne recommande pas pour partir en voyage, il est préférable d'utiliser une casquette .Seul le prix est intéressant. Mauvaise conception
