Does the job.
This is great for driving in CA without needing sunglasses or for you move the visor. You do look ridiculous but I find that funny so totally a plus!

Looks nothing like the picture
It was scratched in multiple places. It looked used, it was dirty and the plastic wasn't clear.

THE PRODUCT IS VERY GOOD FOR HOW MUCH WAS PAID, WOULD LIKE TO OF KNOWN UV PERCENT.

Ahead of it's time? I don't think so.
I got this thing to try out in my battle against the artificial lighting in my office. As it turns out it does not work well in an office setting. There is still significant glaring inside the visor. You also risk coworkers turning you into a meme. People cannot see your face, but you can see them laughing. Some might say it's ahead of it's time, but I think the time is just right.

I like this hat!
I have similar hat in China. I always use it when riding bike in summer. It is not warm as regular cap because it doesn't cover all head, and can supply sunshine resistance. Also lightweight!
