Animal Healthcare Labs - Thrush Magic Paste - 30cc Syringe

I have a TB gelding whom, after years of his hooves being butchered by a bad farrier, had badly contracted heels with a deep cleft in the frog of each hoof. I'd tried every kind of thrush treatment I could find to no avail. My current farrier is working with me on this and suggested this product because you can easily get it deep in those clefts. To give an idea, I can push the tip of syringe into his frog almost all the way up to the tube.. so naturally, the thrush is pretty bad.I've been using this for about 2 weeks and am almost at the end of the tube. Granted, I don't think most people will use this on all 4 hooves at once, and I needed to use quite a bit with each application. But I'm FINALLY seeing some major improvement! The paste is thick and stays put. The syringe makes it super easy to get deep down in crevices. The first time I used this, I stuck the syringe deep down in there and squeezed the plunger until I saw the paste coming out of every part of the cleft. I saw SO much black crud that it had pushed out and the smell was just awful. Two weeks later, when I stick the plunger in there, the paste oozed out white and no longer smells so strong. I've been trying to correct this for nearly 6 months so I will definitely continue to use this product because it clearly works.However, I do wish they offered a larger size tube as this wouldn't last long for a horse with severe thrush on all 4 feet or if using on multiple horses.

This doesn't burn when it goes on. It is nice and sticky and I find that it works really well.

Having fought thrushy feet for almost four years, and having tried most products on the market, this stuff started the healing process. My guy's feet are not yet perfect (he had years with another person who shod him and constricted his toes), but they are well on the way to healing. Thank you thrush magic!!!

It's really too thick to apply easily. I tried it along with other medications, so I'm not sure which one actually cleared the thrush.

Plunger is way way to hard to push with one hand. Paste doesn't stick to a clean hoof without spreading with your finger.

My go to product for treating thrush in deep grooved hooves. I only use this paste and will not use any product containing pine tar or resins. Stays put through mud and rainy conditions for several days.

Like other reviewers I couldn't even apply this because of the way the thick paste came out of the syringe. Wasted half the tube. I'm a nurse and thought the syringe would be more convenient than the 2-step brush method...NOT.

LOVE IT!I will never spend money on anything else. It got rid of the thrush (really terrible, sulcus thrush) in 3 days. I had been fighting for the Thrush to go for years.Seriously, buy it. I don't take the time to do this for just any product.
