Very nice product to cook different types of food
Super happy with purchase, even ordered another piece for my mother (after first purchase) as she liked the cheelas/dosas or stir-fries cooked in it better. Has been using it daily to cook breakfast, pan-roast different type of food stuff and shallow frying. I don't think I'll use aluminium or non-stick pan ever. Gonna order next size soon.Tip: it came pre-seasoned still I used oil heating method 3-4 times as I started using it. Also it is advisable to cloth dry and lightly oil the pan after washing. just add a few drops of edible oil to a muslin cloth piece and rub at both the side. Ready to use as an when you need to use it.

Good and affordable
Good quality. We bought 8" skillet. Surface of rock skillet is not as smooth as bhagya skillet which i had also bought. But the size is slightly bigger, but sides are less deeper. But price was Rs. 200 cheaper and easier to handle as it's 1.8 kilo as against 2.2 kilo of bhagya

Good heavy pan but not pre seasoned well.
This is a nice Tawa but was not per seasoned. It started showing rusting on it after just 2 uses and wash. I do not use any soap yet the rust like colouring occurred. However now I have seasoned it and I am using it and it’s a very good product a small pan to make small omelettes fry a few things for kids etc.

Go for it. It is worth the money
Just loved it. I gave this to my wife and she liked it a lot. Do not panic when you see rust on the pan. Wash it properly and then apply some cooking oil, heat it for few minutes. That’s it, the pan is ready to use.

Good quality but received damaged pans twice and returned before finally receiving an undamaged one
I just love cast iron pans .. Always wanted to buy a small cast iron skillet .. already had a 10.25inch lodge skillet .. but since we are a small family don't usually require that .. so was looking for smaller size .. checked out different Indian brands on Amazon and went through multiple reviews for all those brands before deciding on rock skillet .. the first order was a damaged pan(even box was torn) and so was the second one .. but third time's a charm .. so finally received a proper one ..Would like to bring to the sellers ' attention (if they are listening) to kindly give importance to the packaging and transport .. cast iron pans are brittle .. they are sturdy in structure but brittle by nature .. if dropped can crack unlike steel, aluminium etc .. so please pay attention to the packaging when shipping..As for the quality of the pan .. it's really worth the money .. been more than a year and no complaints .. there maybe a few who might find issues with rusting and such .. you need to understand that if you maintain it properly it won't rust .. have many cast iron and iron vessels ( have ditched all my nonstick pans except for 2) .. and i look after them with a lot of care .. i don't allow anyone else to wash it .. so if well cared for, they will last you a lifetime (hope this does too) .. just wash properly, dry completely and oil it well .. and keep using it regularly .. if left unused too it can rust .. and even if your pan has gone rusty no problem you can still get it back .. watch YouTube videos on how to de-rust and re-season your iron vessels ..

Very good
From my experience Lodge (USA) cast iron cookware is best. But it is very costly here. Rock cookware is an alternative for that. Don't expect american quality but Rock products are far better than the items from Roston(one skillet was returned because of manufacturing defects), Healthy choices(this is chinese product and within one week a crack was visible).
