Good quick read
This is the first book I have read from this author and is the first in what appears to be a series.I had such high hopes for this book based on the blurb but was slightly disappointed. The plot is awesome.Girl meets guy on 21 birthday, has a one night stand, finds herself pregnant without knowing the father's name. Guy takes a security job then finds out the girl he had casual sex with is not only pregnant but is the daughter of his friend and new boss. The book feels rushed, lacks depth, and tends to feel hurried. I wish the author would have taken time with the characters. Given a build up of the storyline.Hopefully the next book is a bit better.

I mean... I'll finish this book...
I wanted to really like the book. ML wasn't a jerk and stepped up, and the FL was nice but dang! She knows her mother is toxic. Her mom constantly tells her to abort and then adopt out her child and has generally been not that nice of a person. She keeps clinging onto hope that her mom loves her. Why would you want someone that toxic in your life? The whole premise is that someone attacked the FL and now they're on this big manhunt for this mysterious baddie... but nothing... happens. A window gets broken and a car tails them and I'm 70% into the book just ho humming along. This book is written well but the story, for me, lacks. Not saying don't read it. Just saying ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. If the story picks up, I'll change my review, but if you're reading this, well... I'll leave it to your imagination.OK I finished the book and now I have to drop this book to a 2 star rating. The FL might actually be dumb. I don't want to spoil anything but reading the epilogue, I'm left feeling infuriated.

Wonderful Security Series
Security BreachThis is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed the book. I loved that Reece and Delilah met before he started working for her father’s company. I hated what Delilah’s mother has done to her over the years. I can’t imagine a mother ever doing the things to her daughter that Delilah’s mother did. Reece is a great guy and is so good to Delilah. All the guys that work at the security firm are like a big family and are there to look out for Delilah. There is someone stalking Delilah that does some awful things. I encourage you to read the book.False SecurityAnother good book in this series. Poor Shayla went through so much with her jerk ex husband. It even affected her little boy Grant. Luckily she is in a new town and has met one of the women who work for the security company. Cassie is pregnant and asks if she would like to work for the company while she is out on maternity leave. Cassie also sets her up on a blind date with Eric. The two are hot together, but she has no idea he works for the company. They both have a shock when she starts working there. I loved Eric even though he comes off as a womanizer. He can’t help he is so good looking! I loved reading more about the characters in the last book. It was sweet how Eric’s little sister loved Grant and always wanted to be around him. Did I say how much I disliked Shayla’s ex husband? He does some awful things to Shayla. If you are into sex, there is a lot of that happening! I enjoyed the book and encourage you to read it.Lead SecurityI loved reading a story about Jack finding love. He is such a wonderful father and grandfather. I hated what he went through with his ex wife. Unfortunately her name was Becky, which is my name. I always wanted my name in a book, but not as the villain! Needless to say Jack is gun shy about getting involved with another woman. I felt bad for Harley as she doesn’t have any family to lean on. It is wonderful how the Security company is one big happy family and includes Haley as one of them. There is a crazy person that wants to harm Harley which brings some scary things happening. This is another good book, and I encourage you to read it.

Well written romantic thriller
No plot spoilersThere are some potential triggers relating to violence and kidnap. That should have been mentioned in the blurb. There are no grammatical or editorial errors that I can recall. The characterisation started off really slow and I wasn't sure I would finish the book, but suddenly I couldn't put it down so, obviously, the characters morphed into people (in my head) and I needed to know what happens next.I do think the first chapter could be improved mostly because it's where you form your opinion of the writing style and quite honestly the introduction to the main characters isn't exactly spellbinding. My honest advice to readers is to stick with it, it gets much better fairly quickly. There are some sex scenes, but they don't happen every other page, it's proportional. There is some swearing, again, it's not overwhelming.

Security Breach bk 1 Rogue Security & Investigation series - by Evan Grace.
Eebbed and flowed. The story line was good, but it became mechanical in places. With more emotion it would have flowed better. The characters weren't rounded enough, or emotional enough to carry this story. Reece and Jack had a good banter at the beginning but it petered out, as it did with the other security detail. Sorry, but it didn't interest me enough to want to rad the others novels in this series.

Okayish
Good story line that never really delivers the good book it should be. Delilah is supposed to be smart with a super intelligent dad and boyfriend yet at times it’s like wading through quagmire. The relationship with the mother is toxic yet continues to be to end. Ok but..

Another fantastic read
Well what can I say but thank you. Yet another fantastic, page turning, can't put down book by a fabulous author. The chemistry between the two main characters is spellbinding. I enjoyed every minute of it. Can't wait to read the next instalment. Xxxx
