Good versatile oil
A friend gave me a tin (3 liters) of this olive oil, which I had never used. Perfect present for me! It's good and I will probably order it when I finish this. It's not as full or hearty and fruity as the olive oil from Tuscany, where I lived for eight years (and consequently am spoiled forever). It doesn't have that peppery ending. That being said, it's excellent for cooking and for seasoning salads and veggies when you are not featuring the oil. It would be good for making homemake mayonnaise since it's lighter than some olive oils. Even so, I would probably mix it with avocado oil for mayo depending on the desired taste for the particular use. Good versatile oil!
