Super Nice BT Headphones But With Several Major Drawbacks.
I've only been using these headphones for several days so my review will be somewhat limited for the moment. I'll list the pro's first.: Nice balanced sound for both music and movies on computer and through mp3 player.: Cool looking (my opinion): Very Comfortable...have worn for several hours without any discomfort whatsoever.: Controls are fairly intuitive so it won't take reading a manual to use these headphones immediately.Negatives:The 90 day warranty is quite limited and sort of bothers me. Most of the BT headphones I've looked at here on Amazon have at least a 1 year limited warranty. A few BT headphones, such as the FSL Zero and FSL 360 come with a 3 year limited warranty and both these FSL BT headphone models are under $50.The lack of a hard molded travel case is quite disappointing given that the hard and thin headband on these Revolution X headphones seems to be made of a material that could be easily broken due to short drops on hard surfaces, such as a desk (I've read this elsewhere). I think the headband could be made of a more damage resistant material, such as the Soft-touch rubberized exterior on the Photive BTH3 Bluetooth 4.0 Headphones rather than a very hard thin material. If you travel with these headphones to use on plane and or in car not having a hard molded protective case is almost a certain death sentence given the thin and hard headband material as well as the weight of the headphones (1.66 Lbs). One decent accidental drop without the protection of a hard molded case with padded interior and there's a seriously high likelihood that the headphones will be broken in one way or the other (Unusable) and given the limited warranty period if damage happens after the warranty period is expired, you're out of luck.A hard molded travel case specifically designed for these headphones with padded interior is a NECESSITY if you wish to listen to these headphones anywhere other than while on your extremely soft bed's soft pillow-top mattress. I travel incessantly so my intention was to buy these BT headphones to use with my MP3 player for use during plane travel. The only BT headphones that I've ever owned and used during weekly travel that worked flawlessly and survived more than 3 months without being completely destroyed came with carefully custom molded hard or semi-hard internally padded travel cases. One of the issues most people do not consider when using these hard custom molded interior padded cases is that not only are the headphones physically protected from damage but the custom molded nature of these cases keeps the headphones leather or synthetic leather ear cups from becoming distorted in shape when inserted into these great hard molded cases. This allows the headphones to have a longer lifespan since keeping the leather or synthetic ear cup foam in the proper shape allows the headphones to perform as intended. With only several days use so far I have to say these are quite comfortable and balanced sounding, easy to use and pair Bluetooth headphones. The two major negatives I listed above are Extremely Annoying, especially the lack of a molded hard padded travel case for the headphones. A 1 year standard limited manufacturer warranty would be closer to the warranty normally found on electronics in general, especially given the price (certainly not cheap).A hard molded case made specifically for these headphones with soft internal padding for protection would be an EXTREMELY WELCOME addition to this purchase. A velvet bag does not supply any physical protection, unless you're worried about dust (pretty much worthless for protection when traveling or on the road).Keep in mind that I've only been using these headphones for several days. Although this limited time of use does not change the extreme need for a longer warranty period and a hard custom molded case with internal padding designed specifically for these Base Effect Audio Revolution X headphones. The addition of a molded hard travel case with internal padding specifically designed for these headphones for substantial physical protection during use on the road or during business travel on planes and a more extended limited warranty (1 year limited warranty) would allow me to definitely give these Base Effect Audio Revolution X headphones a 5 star rating without question.A user replaceable rechargeable lithium battery would be truly warranted, especially given the environmental degradation our planet suffers from these days. Even if I had to pay a few bucks to have a manufacturer authorized dealer replace a dead rechargeable battery for these headphones with a new more powerful lithium rechargeable battery I'd be more than willing to pay a fair price over having to throw perfectly fine headphones on the trash heap due to a non-removable dead battery.Designing any electronic device with a non-removable (soldered) rechargeable battery should have been made illegal by the EPA many year ago. Being able to voluntarily replace these headphones (User replaceable) with a new rechargeable battery would be truly great.1.) If these BT headphones had user replaceable rechargeable batteries and even upgrades so the owner could replace a dead battery with a more powerful rechargeable battery than the original to increase user time between charging, this would be a truly great advantage over the entire competition.2.) A hard custom molded travel case with protective padded interior made for these revolution x headphones would allow any owner of these headphones to travel as need be without having to worry and or deal with damage to the headphones. This is a NECESSITY in my opinion.3.) A standard 1 year limited manufacturer's warranty for these Revolution X headphones would be a relief, given the lack of a hard molded custom case.So at this point, the above 3 issues have lowered my review of these Bass Effect Revolution X headphones to a 3 star. But with a few modifications these headphones could easily be raised to a 5 star rating.

Great concert
1) These sound GREAT!!! You will feel immersed in bass-heavy concert sound. Best sound of the phones I tested.2) They do a good job isolating the music but still allow you to get the surrounding sound cues you need. When I have them on, it's easy to get lost in the music!3) These are bigger and heavier than other lightweight, sleek headphones, but they are also sturdier. My only drawback seems to be when I lay my head down on the weight bench or mat, they tend to want to flop off of my head. It is not a huge problem, but you need to be careful you don't sling them off your head during crunches!4) The cushions at your ears are plush, but they can get hot during intense workouts. If you are headed to the gym for a sweat fest, leave these at home that day.5) Calls sound great to you, but your listeners may say you sound, “too far away”.6) The range is good (at least 20 feet) and they do a good job keeping a Wi-Fi signal (I use Pandora). I can leave my iPhone 5 in my gym bag on the floor and walk around the weight room. Freedom from cords is great!7) They hold a charge for a long time. I have used them at least five hours. They probably will go a lot longer.8) They come with a heavy velvet drawstring carry satchel.9) I would love to use these with my TV (so others do not hear the sound). You will need a Bluetooth transmitter to do this, but you'll need to buy that from other suppliers.10) Some desired changes: Tactical cues on the buttons at the earpiece to tell me which button I am pressing (currently I have to put my fingers around the “clock face” of buttons to locate my position). It would also be nice if there were some way to weight the headphones so that when you do crunches they don’t want to flop off. It would also be nice if there were a way to limit volume so I don’t crank them too high during my intense workouts (self monitoring!) and my friends aand would like better microphone sound reception when they call me at the gym.PS- I was offered the $20 rebate but I stand behind my rating. If I didn't love them, I wouldn't be keeping them!

Best bang for your buck
So, lets start this review.Lets start from good:- Arrived on time with great packing by amazon.- Come recharged and you can plug them or connect to your devise to test right out of box.- Connects almost instantly.- Sound quality is amazing. I was testing on very high volume and there wasn't any kind of distortion in sound.- I used up to about 10 miters away from my laptop and it worked like a charm, there was a wall between us as and sound and microphone quality stayed about the same maybe minor distortion but it wasn't noticeable for me.- Over year padding is soft and comfortable while they stayed on.- When listening to POP or RAP music there is a little vibration from lows ( bass ) but me personally love it ( could be an issue for other I guess ).- The band padding is also soft.- While on the head they stay firm and don't move.- Using SD card for listening to music is very useful if you don't want extra drain on your phone.- Can be used with wire as well if you wish ( not sure if its possible to use them when battery is dead, haven't tested yet. )- Switching songs, volume and EQ on the right head phone is very nice as well.- Case bag is just right size when your fold your headphones in there.- OVER ALL THIS IS BEST RATION OF QUAITY/MONEY.Now lets start with some little cons, they are minor and that's why didn't take off any stars for it.- Does not come with wall adapter, could be useful if you don't like wires to be plugged in and out of your USB ports.- Charging plug enters a little difficult with force.- Does not have a cleaning cloth ( not really an issue ).- Light might be annoying for some people.Me personally satisfied with mu purchase. I will recommend this to my friends and family.- Plastic is a little hard and cat be band much, I wouldn't suggest twisting it too much.
