Beautiful book with delicious recipes!
I love this book! Not only does it look beautiful, but it has a really great range of recipes and also a good basis to start vegan Japanese cooking. Bought a gift. So well presented with lovely pictures and great recipes. This wiil maw an incredible present.

Nice book
It looks beautiful, it's well written. With down amazing recipes. But I feel needs more pictures (as do most recipe books tbh) we all eat with our eyes. I need a picture for each recipe otherwise how am I supposed to know what it looks like.

A new vegan way of eating
This is a wonderful book. It's beautifully produced, and very engagingly written, but much more importantly, the food you will make from it is amazing. The author clearly knows his subject well enough to craft recipes that are authentic in terms of flavouring and concept, but don't slavishly try to replicate every animal product with a vegan alternative. And he gives you the tools and the confidence to adapt dishes too. My favourite new model at the moment is a noodle salad: chilled ramen noodles + a Japanese dressing (there are a few in the book) + whatever else you like = an endlessly versatile dish I would happily eat every day. Some of the ingredients might be a bit hard to track down, and there's a bit of a 'technology tree' structure whereby full dishes rely on building block recipes from earlier in the book, but your perseverance will be repaid with nothing less than a new way of eating.

Beautiful book
This book is a stunning addition to my kitchen side - love the design. I can’t wait to actually get stuck into these recipes and I’ve loved reading through to prepare myself; very well written. The ingredients are a bit more specific, but that’s why you get a book like this - to learn, experiment and perfect.

Vegan Japaneasy
I’m vegetarian not vegan. This but is a taste sensation! I’ve tried most recipes and found them all a delight and easy to cook. The author’s comments are also humorous. It’s a great book.
