Rolling Gate Track Wheel for Sliding Chain Link Fence Heavy Duty Cast Iron Wheel with Galvinized coating, Rear Roller Guide with Hardware

This is a great, heavy-duty track wheel. I have a 750lb rolling gate and have gone through several lesser quality wheels due to the pressures exerted on them. Earlier this year I installed this wheel at the top of my gate and have now replaced the one at the bottom. They're both formidable enough to handle the weight and the gate is running smoothly as a result.

I was shipped a defective wheel, but a new one was shipped promptly. Overall, I was satisfied with the service.

This item is more than what I expected. There is a grease fitting that is a big plus. Delivery was super fast. The product finish is superior than what I expected. Here in Hawaii, salt air corrodes metal quickly. This replaces the standard metal roller I had originally, which lasted several years. This one I expect to last far far longer. I have two gates so I ordered another for the other gate. I also saw they have nylon wheels, so I ordered a pair of those and am looking forward to seeing how they are. I'm worried about the nylon wheels as the sun wreaks havoc on non metallic material.

Full disclosure, writing this after the celebration drink I had for the 20 minute install.DEAD easy to install. Smooth too. Real great to have a lubircation fitting because I immediately forgot to lubirate the thing before installing. I will say that if you have a SQUARE tubing gate like I do (as opposed to rounded tubing on chain link), you ought to consider this more of a fit for 1 1/2" tubing. But meh, I put it on anyway and cranked the attachment nuts on the U bolt. So far so good!

The gate roller made it easier to open the gate for a handicap person in a wheelchair. Perfect fit.
