Good quality at $$$ less than name brand.
This spud wrench is a good bargain. Mine measures 15-7/8" tip to tip so they could have just as accurately described it as a 16" wrench. Jaws are perfectly perpendicular and smooth. The spike is a straight taper all the way up until it transitions to adjustable wrench. There is not excessive slop in the movable jaw. All forging and machining seem well executed. Polished faces of wrench will rust if not oiled. Thumb-wheel does not rust as it is chrome-plated. Laser etching indicating bolt head width is off by at least 1/32". Overall not bad. I think this is the same level of quality you would get for a Crescent (R) brand spud wrench. Crescent (R) has sent their manufacturing to China anyway.

It’s a beater
This actually wasn’t the size I planned on purchasing but, I’m happy I did. Spud wrenches are so handy. I pound on things, pry things, poke things and even wrench with it. I would recommend it. I will buy it again if I can destroy this one. Better than spending over 100 bucks for a Kline.

Not a high quality tool
Well, you get what you pay for. Wrench is mild steel at best. Bent the handle aligning bolt hole on the first use. Good news is, easy to bend back. If you want a hard working quality tool, keep shopping. If you want an inexpensive wrench for a backup, this may suit you.

Works... kinda
The jaw felt very tight upon receiving it. When applying pressure on a bolt, the jaw bends open, then springs back when you release the pressure. It works great for larger bolts and loose bolts because it won't bend enough to cause problems, but if you come across a small, yet tight bolt, it will bend and twist around the bolt.I have not had problems with the spud end bending as others have commented. Overall, it's good for the price. Don't expect the quality of a name brand wrench.

Very satisfied with purchase
This is another tool my husband needed for work. He was satisfied.

but sturdy and smooth for large bolts
Definitely not Klein or Wright quality, but sturdy and smooth for large bolts. Too much flex in the jaw for small bolts as it will round off heads.

My boyfriend was happy!
My boyfriend is a welder and so I got this for his birthday as something for work, along with other gifts. He uses this for work all the time and he was happy with the durability and grip that this product has. He said he was really happy he didn't have to go to Lowe's/Home Depot and spend $40-$50 on this like he was planning to do there. Great product!
