Phenomenal book
I really enjoyed this book. The struggle to live through the after effects of destruction of the major parts of the US encroach upon their sanctuary. I went through a full range of emotions. I liked Julio’s growth and the breaks to go to Shay. Those breaks were a nice way to get a look at the outside world. Nice job.

Action packed
Dakota, Logan, Eden, and Julio, are headed into the Everglades. Knowing Maddox, and other members from the Shepherd's of Mercy, will most likely be holding Ezra hostage. Will they make it in time, or will will Dakota lose the man she considers family? If he is alive, will Ezra welcome her and Eden back, or tell them to hit the road? This 4th book in the series is, pretty much, non-stop action. How can Dakota keep Eden, and herself safe? CAN she keep them safe? What about Logan and Julio? The Everglades may have been a safe zone from the fallout, but it's nowhere NEAR safe, as it's closer to the Shepherd's compound. With the fire power and trained militia from the compound, will Dakota be able to bring the others in the area to the table for safety's sake? The author tugs on your heartstrings in this one. Hard decisions have to be made, and Dakota isn't the only one who has to make them. This book will fire you up and make you want to kill some characters. It will make you cry and agonize over others, and be surprisingly proud of some you previously wondered about.

Excellent addition to the series
I thought Kayla kept the intense story line moving not to slow but not to fast. I was never sure what the out come was going to be and there were several unexpected twists I never saw coming. I do however wonder why it all has to end in the next book when she has set up a great couple that could help humanity get back on their feet. They must first beat the Shepards.Hope the next one is done sooner than later.

The best of the series, thus far
I liked the flow of book four, and the way Stone gave us plenty of back story so the relationships made sense. I didn't like that she gave me yet another cliffhanger. I guess I'll be buying book five. If you hate cliffhangers, I'd recommend waiting until book five is out before reading them all in order.

Another great suspense thriller
Lots of suspense and dark scenes that will keep you on the edge of your chair. Sometimes I wonder how Lady authors come up with the action but then I remember watching "Deadly Women" on Discovery I.D. Can't wait for the next book in this series!

Excellent Story!
I really enjoyed reading this next book in the Nuclear Dawn series. It was fast paced and filled with tension as the events unfolded. The author does an excellent job with the characters and unexpected twists and turns. I look forward to reading the next book in the series. If you enjoy Post Apocalyptic stories, this series should be on your reading list.

Another hit
I love the style this series is written in. It’s hard to believe only four weeks have passed since the bond went off in Book one. It’s fast paced and detailed. There was one part I thought was a little strange, but it’s a spoiler so I’ll stay quiet about the details. It was something a young kid just wouldn’t have thought about. It didn’t take away from the story and I can understand why the author did it, however. All in all, still a great read and I can’t wait to dig into the final book.

Outstanding
I really enjoyed this book and hope that you don't have to keep killing off the survivors. I know that this is what is going to happen. I can't wait for Dakota to kill Maddox. Thank you.

Just gets better and better!
This entire series so far has been a sit on the edge of your seat and turn the pages as fast as you can read! The author shows very capable research, adding so many authentic details and presenting a more than possible scenario. Add to that characters that are real and more than two dimensional and action that cramps the readers muscles and you have a fantastic book, and series.
